It's not the full Photoshop CS version, but it does enough to suit any but the most advanced needs. Capable of some impressive tweaks to images and of correcting most problems, it's a good solution for the occasional or beginning digital photographer.
Premiere is a little more difficult to use than iMovie, but has a few more capabilities that I'm still exploring.

Simple setup, decent Wi-Fi speed and streaming services make this a good choice for a first or second player. My one complaint is that I could not find the MAC address in the setup information or the documentation, so I had to resort to turning off MAC filtering, connect it and then check the router information to be able to set up MAC address filtering on the router. Minor, but still an annoyance.

I was supplementing another Epson scanner so I could scan photos at two locations. The newer technology scans faster, with much shorter warmup times. The ability to scan a group of prints and have them separated by software is a real time saver. Image quality is good, but high-resolution scans still can take a few minutes per image. It's a good value for a home or small office that doesn't need really high production rates.

Rather than spend the money for a second power adapter, this allows MacBook users to have one adapter that works on their old computer (MagSafe 1) and with the newer, wider power ports. The sole and minor problem is that it's small enough to get lost in the bottom of a laptop bag, but a small zipper container will solve that nicely.

What is the button on the portable hard drive?
When connected to the computer the button lights up white. I thought the button would allow me to safely remove the hard drive but only my screen refreshed. The instruction books included are lacking information for first time users. A "Quick Start" guide which labels the components and how to run the set up, as well as a California Prop warning.
While using the computer normally with this plug in the button randomly flashes and "AUTO PLAY" options appear. So far it has happened twice while typing this question. What is the button supposed to do?

That's just a power indicator - you have to use the computer to remove the HD - Windows and Mac are different, so check the manual for your computer to find the appropriate directions.
