I had never seen this one before so I'm ecstatic my first time was on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. Holy wow! Is it ever a great movie and the 4K Ultra HD video and audio is outstanding! Don't believe me. We wrote an in-depth review of it all here http://whysoblu.com/leon-professional-4k-uhd-blu-ray-review/

It's a long movie, and it's not perfect by any means, but I still manage to have a lot of fun with this sequel view after view. Probably because the characters are so likable, even the red headed villain in this one, and the action is very insane. The opening sequence will leave you breathless it's so rousing! The cartoon steelbook cover is the icing on the cake here. I wrote a full in depth review of it all here http://whysoblu.com/kingsman-2-the-golden-circle-4k-uhd-blu-ray-review/

I know I am in the minority here, but I LOVE this film! Scar Jo is just the icing on the cake here. This movie looks gorgeous in 4K and the Atmos surround track is very satisfying. However, the 3D just makes this one out of this world! If you ever seen this one, then you know what I am talking about with how amazing the futuristic cityscapes look in 3D. At the $9.99 price I grabbed this at this one is out of this world, pun intended!

It sure looks and sounds AWESOME on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc. Bane's voice literally takes over your viewing room speakers in this remastered theatrical DTS-HD surround track. Like the other 2 in the 4K series the dialogue is a bit low, but not as bad. We wrote a full review of it all here http://whysoblu.com/dark-knight-rises-4k-uhd-blu-ray-review/

Here's another one where I have been waiting a LONG TIME for to come to the 4K format, well only 2 years since the format is relatively brand new. Happy to see the 7-film Nolan 4K collection come home finally to the 4K UHD Blu-ray format. His movies are some of my all time favorites. This one is no exception either. I love the way Bale and Jackman play off each other here. And Scarlett is just the icing on the cake! This is an oldie in the Nolan catalog, but goodie. The audio and video throughout are reference, but dialog can be a bit low in the mix. Your results may vary. However, it's the same audio from the former Blu-ray release so no new Atmos or DTS:X tracks. The slip cover artwork on this one is mesmerizing and trippy. Love it!

Christopher Nolan steps back into the director's chair for this sequel to Batman Begins, which finds the titular superhero coming face to face with his greatest nemesis - the dreaded Joker. Christian Bale returns to the role of Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal takes over the role of Rachel Dawes (played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins), and Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger dons the ghoulishly gleeful Joker makeup previously worn by Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero. Just as it begins to appear as if Batman, Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) are making headway in their tireless battle against the criminal element, a maniacal, wisecracking fiend plunges the streets of Gotham City into complete chaos.

Happy to see the Nolan 4K collection come home finally to the format. This movie is one of my all time favorites, but you may be wondering why I only ranked it a 4. Well it does have pristine video complete with the changing IMAX aspect ratio that blows up to the size of your screen (in other words no black bars), but the theatrical audio mix makes the dialogue a tad low here so the spoken words in the center channel needs a bit of a bump up. No Atmos or anything like that either. All extras are ported over from the Blu-ray release. Here's a review we wrote up of it http://whysoblu.com/dark-knight-4k-uhd-blu-ray-review/

Say what you want about the film. It's a patriotic masterpiece to some and probably fallacies to others. However, I can't help but being engrossed in both the story and plight within here. What is the real icing on the cake here though is this 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation. It is pristine in appearance and bombastic in the surround audio department with its Dolby Atmos track. The Digital HD file included here is UV and playable in 4K via the Sony apps on modern Sony 4K TV sets.

I'm rating this a 4 only because I am not a huge fan of the film. However, I am a HUGE fan of this Bets Buy steelbook as it's not only a limited edition of the 4K release, but it's also the real deal. There are 3 versions/cuts of this legendary sci-fi film on 4K Ultra HD in this set plus Blu-ray and Digital HD. The Digital HD files are UV and playable in 4K via the Sony apps on modern Sony 4K TV sets.

This one surprised me when I originally watched it in the theater. I wasn't expecting to like the movie so much. Then my conundrum was why no US release on 4K UHD Blu-ray in the US? I ended up pre-ordering a French 4K release, but then a US date got announced and I waited. Unbelievably Best Buy had this title on sale for $17.50 the day it was released. Take my money Best Buy! I was happy to buy such a great 2017 title on the 4K format! It's a Top 10 title in my list of favorite films this year. What more can I say?
