Been Waiting For This Title on 4K UHD + Good Price

This one surprised me when I originally watched it. I wasn't expecting to like the movie so much. Then my conundrum was why no US release on 4K UHD Blu-ray in the US? I ended up pre-ordering overseas, but then a US date got announced and I waited. Unbelievably Best Buy had this title on sale for $17.50 the day it was released. Take my money Best Buy! I was happy to buy such a great 2017 title on the 4K format!

A 4K Trifecta of Purge Pleasure!

I am not the biggest fan of the Purge films there is, but I enjoy them quite a bit. Thanks to Best Buy's price matching policy I was able to grab these for $36.18. I watched all three within 12 hours and the 4K presentation makes them the finest versions of the film to own. The DTS:X surround track is icing on the cake too! I believe the digital codes redeem in UHD on Fandango. Best of all I like the flip case inside as they have six trays to hold all the discs and avoid stacking them. Yahoo!

Ugliest Steelbook Cover but OVERALL Great Package!

This is a real shame the way the steelbook cover looks. I mean you have the most beautiful actress portraying Wonder Woman and so many different promotional pieces to use for a cover, but they use what looks like a six year old's drawing. I dunno, but I do know this. It has the 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc inside and a redeemable code for an UV UHD digital file too. That's all I care about as I want the finest presentation of this film and this is the best way to get it in a limited edition set like this. Sadly this steelbook is not as popular as others as of late. Not A Looker, But It IS Getting The Job Done!

About a month ago we had some really bad lightning storms. Nothing on our home was struck, but the cable box rebooted. Well what I thought was an innocent reboot was actually lightning riding the coax into it and it fried the HDMI cable from the box to my AV receiver and it fried the port on my receiver too. That stunk! So I searched for either an affordable UPS or power line conditioner. Several members of a online AV forum highly recommended this one. Setup was very easy, it covers coax cable and warranties your equipment. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah! It didn't break the bank either! I hope it works when I need it the most!

Killer Looking Steelbook But Mediocre Film

Hands down this 4K steelbook is amazing looking. That's the sole reason I bought it to stay sealed in the wrapper too. I know that sounds stupid, but it is what it is. It's the collector disease in me. LOL. The front looks freaky with the baby alien, but it's the rear cover that is the sinister looking, evil alien we're all used to. This one sold out fast too! The movie is so-so, not as good as Prometheus, but it's still a good time with some fantastic kill scenes. I Never Knew What I Was Missing Before These!

For the past almost 10 years I have been running small satellite speakers for all three of my home theater setups. I never knew how much sound I was missing out on until I bought these. I went back and forth about purchasing more expensive ones from Klipsch or Pioneer Elites, but the more I researched these Pioneer Andrew Jones the more I chose to take a leap of faith on them without even hearing them. For the rave reviews they get and the cheap price, how could I not at least bring them home and try them out? I'm so happy I did because I hear things now I never heard before as I'm re-watching all my Blu-rays again. They are also quite beefy in not only the sound department, but in stature too. Love them! I added the Dolby Atmos top firing speakers to them as well and I love watching movies now. It has become my favorite past time. Truth be told, this is the finest Independence Day has ever looked! However, keep this in mind, it's a 20 year old film. It's not going to be night and day, even on the 4K Blu-ray format. A Great Movie and a F-I-N-E Looking 4K Blu!

Since jumping into 4K and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray I have become what I feared most, a Blu-ray snob! I have reviewed over 9 different 4K UHD Blu-ray titles here: http://whysoblu.com/category/blu-ray-reviews/4k-uhd-blu-ray-review/ However, Sicario on 4K UHD Blu-ray is by far one of my favorites in my 16-disc UHD collection thus far. The Dolby Atmos surround track goes a long way, but it's the stunning, razor sharp clarity and HDR presentation that gets me every time. This one is a winner on 4K Blu-ray from Lionsgate! Beware though as there are some bad batches of this disc. If you have the same problem like I did trying to get your 4K Blu player to read it, take it back to a completely different Best Buy store for a replacement. Don't make the same mistake I did and go back to the same store. All their discs were defective. It truly was worth all the hassle though!
