Rogen, Byrne, and Efron really interact hilariously together. I get the feeling a lot of the funnier stuff was ad-libed, the script doesn't seem to be all the great, the pacing of in the middle of the movie feels a little off. The flow of the (over time) pranks between the frat and Rogen and Byrne don't seem right, and are a little off. That being said, I found most the rest of the film to be pretty funny. It didn't have the heart of a Apatow movie, but it also isn't bogged down by being 30 minutes too long like most Apatow efforts. Byrne is the real surprise, as she isn't known for being a comedic actress, but does very well here and working off of Rogen and Efron. Efron also deserves a little bit of credit. He's not great, but he's good, and can perhaps develop into a decent actor.

The story is kind of weak, wish they had picked an established bad guy/alien race from the ST universe, although Idris Elba is a great potential villain, just wish they had created a better character for him. Also didn't like the "classical music" selection.

Very good post-modern Bond inspired spy film. The main actor was a little bland, but the strong supporting cast helps to alleviate that problem. Firth is great, and Sam Jackson is pretty awesome in this. Nice to see a different sort of character from him. Well directed by Matthew Vaughn, and keeps everything entertaining and surprising funny. Good dose of dark humor that was unexpected. That church scene was pretty great and the highlight of the movie. Michael Caine was extremely wasted, but otherwise a great effort.
