What you would expect from an outer space movie made by Disney. Talking Racoons and Trees are forced to work with an Orphan and an Alien. But it is action packed CGI makes it possible for adults to watch. I just hope they don';t do this to Star Wars; The Force awakens.

Angelina Joline carrys this one. CGI is very good but it is not the old fairy tale. The truly evil queen is not revealed in this version and the prince and princess aren't really hero and rescued. Its more of a negotiation than a battle between good and evil. The fairy godmothers are dim witted and not that entertaining. The King and Queen story is changed dramatically. Time flies between sleeping spell and the princes appearance.

Good actors in a Hercules movie? If you are a Steve Reeves fan this movie isn't for you. Dwayne Johnson "the Rock" can act ans so can Ralph Fiennes ( Hades Clash of Titans), John Hurt (Hellboy's father) and Ian McShane(BLACKBEARD/ Pirates). Yes there are women in this movie but these four character actors remind me of the entourage for a John Wayne movie only with foreign accents. The twist with this Hercules is it shows his mortal side as a soldier.

What was true then is true now offer them a tidbit and the Scot's leaders will bend like a bow. Somebody should have put William Wallace's fate on the voting booth at election time.

Truest of the True MAD MAX. Yes there is the the helicopter pilot. Yes there is the Austrailan juvenile delinquent. Yes a renegade rebellion of Metallica groupies facing off with Billy Idol groupies led by Jason from the movie Friday the 13th. Huge and lengthy stuntman laden chase scene with dirt cheap special affects. But then again it was made in Austraila.
Thunderdome is better but technically unbelievable. This one you can swallow the possibility of desperation for fuel. No over acting because of the Aussie accent and only one juvenile in the whole movie.Mel Gibson in a motorcycle cop uniform without the helmet gives a touch of no law but order.

Excellent by Dicaprio, Damon and Nicholson. Boston cop with a bad rep goes under cover to invade the Irish mob. It seems more like the mafiosa but it convincing. Much like LA CONFIDENTIAL but transplanted to east coast. Its not the GODFATHER or GOODFELLAS. Characters keep you in the mix until the standard ending not a lot of surprises except for the bad guys.

If they can rewrite ROBOCOP, they surely can rewrite LINCOLN. Good entertainment if you can get past the presidency and his legacy. An unusual attempt to make a superhero from a future president., Its TRUE BLOOD IN THE 1800'S or VAMPIRE DIARIES flashbacks. Evil and vicious vampires meeting their doom at the hands ( around an ax ) of honest ABE. There is no in depth conversation with the evil doers as in INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE. Rather lets find them and do them in. And surprisingly what keeps you interested is the fact he was just an honest 6 foot lawyer traveling the Illinois court circuit.
