Great video quality and even more important, excellent audio. The disk has two loseless soundtracks, a LPCM stereo and a DTS-HD Master Audi 5.1 track and both are excellent.

Yes it can work on your BOSE system but you will need an adapter. The bose system has a digital optical toslink input as well as an analog RCA input. The chromecast audio has 1/8" stereo analog output as well as mini toslink output. You would need a mini toslink to toslink cable or a 1/8" stereo to RCA cable to make it work. They are both very inexpensive cables.
