Let's be honest, Silence In The Snow wasn't for everybody. I enjoyed it, but hoped that Trivium didn't continue in their style on their next album. Enter The Sin And The Sentence, which in my opinion is a hybrid of the melody and production of Silence In The Snow and the heaviness of Shogun. Recommended.

The fact that it pokes fun at Night Of The Living Dead is what somewhat attracted me to this movie, and it is really fun to watch. Not really content with how the final product came out, Exhumed decided to re-record their classic debut Gore Metal. I actually enjoy the original because of the raw character of the recording, but I feel that this edition with both new and original versions of the album is definitive. Highly recommended.
