The remarkable aspect of these special features is how educational they are, providing much insight into this award-winning Japanese film. To begin, Spirited Away is presented in flawless 2.0:1 widescreen, enabling the richness of the animation to explode onscreen. The sound, presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 English and Japanese Surround, is flawless. A French Dolby Digital 2.0 track is also included. The featurette, "The Art of Spirited Away," is a must-see. It offers insight into the interpretation of the quite-symbolic film as well as stories about the trials and tribulations encountered during the translation process.
