Good Budget Power Strip

I lost my power strip due to a work mix-up and needed something in stock before bedtime. I found a handful in my local store but this one labeled by Insignia (I don't know who actually makes it) was what I picked for a variety of reasons, mostly the price but just under that was the color being Black to match the nightstand.
The power strip offers plenty of plugs for what I need, it has a longer cord than my old one which is a huge help, and it was at a lower price than most of the others which is a key feature for me. Only been using it for a little while now but it looks and works well, like I said the cord is long enough to be able to maneuver the power strip wherever I need it, and because it's black like my night stand it matches and camouflages in with the surroundings. The power button light isn't excessively bright either (and its green, not sure if that is a make or break for anyone but I'll leave that information here for whoever cares....I don't) so it won't keep you up if you need to keep it near your side of the bed.

I got this official "Fractured But Whole" The Coon knit cap with my pre-order and I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it. While the hat itself is warm, awesome looking, a great conversation starter, and just really all around sweeeeeeet, the size is kind of small for a "one size fits most". I don't think my head is particularly big compared to the 99% of America but I can barely get this thing on my head, its tight and at length is uncomfortable. I suspect this was made for skinny little emo teens who wear clothes ironically (not what The Coon would approve of wearing his merchandise) not a regular size person with brains and stuff.
If you see one in the wild put it on your melon first to be sure it will be enjoyable to wear. If it doesn't fit its not worth the money...perhaps not even if it fits depending if its more than ten bucks.

Solid Affordable Speaker

I do a lot of driving while I work or run errands and have little taste for modern radio...so I listen to a lot of podcasts on my phone. Since my car is an older model there is no AUX in/out port and I bought this speaker from a selection of others due to it's price, its rugged claims, and the battery life claim on the box.
I've not had time to put it through any kind of rough or negligent incidents but the speaker feels solid and heady with rubber around the edges so I believe it could stand up to day to day use. I wouldn't drop it off the roof or out of my car onto the concrete but that's good advice no matter how rugged a product claims to be.
The battery seems very good! I haven't kept perfect track but I'd say that after charging it over night I was able to get probably 12 hours use out of it before it died of battery failure. So this won't last you a weekend camping but neither will your cell phone! If you use it for a day trip or like me while driving then you'll be fine.
The volume is quite good too! If you turn it to maximum volume both on your phone and on the speaker it really hurts your ears in the car (I know from experience) but that is something I don't usually see from speakers I've bought previously.

A True 90s Classic Comedy

I've never been a sports guy, not sure why but baseball and football and especially basketball are boring to me. However, this film is so full of charm and humor and memorable characters/moments/quotes that I can't help but love it!
During WWII many men head to Europe to fight for freedom and justice leaving their wives, sisters, girlfriends, etc. in America to try to carry on the American dream. People are worried and so a women's baseball league is started to distract those at home from what may or may not be happening to their loved ones overseas. The movie focuses on the Rockford Peaches and their coach, a washed up drunk named Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) who could careless about the girls on his team until they melt his heart. They play baseball but the movie humorously shows us their relationships forming, growing, breaking, and carrying on in a time of war and uncertainty. Tetris is a game which has been done and copied and then recopied over the past 30+ years. I thought nothing could make it fresh and new again but having played a few hours of Puyo Puyo Tetris I see I was wrong and this is an amazing game! If you know Tetris and like it then this is that but smooth and easy to play just like back in the old days. It also has Puyo, which I guess is big in Japan but never really made it big here in the states (other than when it was released as Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine on Sega in the 90s). There are a bunch of game modes which let you play one game or the other or variations of each such as playing a time limit of Tetris on one board then switching to Puyo on a 2nd screen. There is also a story mode (yes really) which is RPG/Anime style crazy involving dimensional travel where Tetris players end up in a Puyo world where nobody knows what a Tetrimino is.
This is a lot of fun and its pretty cheap for all you get in it, if you like this kind of game at all you'll not regret picking up a copy.

Right off the bat this is worth buying if ONLY for the first movie...the fact that you get the horrible sequel and the decent third film are just a half p00p/half icing on the metaphorical cake.

Gorgeous But Feels Empty

From the brilliant artistic game designer of "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colosus" comes a game ten years in the making about a boy who awakens in a crumbling tower beside a giant creature that's part cat, part dog, and part bird. The game play is environmental puzzles sometimes involving opening a door which your creature friend can't reach or other times destroying glass eye decorations which somehow prevent the creature from moving forward.
The game looks amazing! The creature, Trico, is quite realistic and emotive and behaves like a real animal would (both better and worse....stubborn doesn't begin to cover it). The flaw with the game is a few things, chief among them it's boring. There are really only two or maybe three types of puzzles and they are repeated over and over. After I'd opened a couple doors, destroyed a few glass eyes, and coerced Trico into going where I wanted him to go the game stopped offering anything new besides looking amazing. The story is barely there, even after you beat it and reveal more of tthe backstory how the boy came to be in the ruins.

Up front I'm still playing so this is only a review of the first few hours. That being said what I have played is amazing! This is the first next gen Tomb Raider (the last modern game was PS3 and Xbox 360) and it shows in the shadows and lighting effects, you can see their are textures and details that just pop out of the environments; hair effects on Lara's ponytail are still hit or miss though it's a minor gripe. If you played the reboot simply called Tomb Raider on PS3 or Xbox 360 (or that HD remaster they dropped on PS4 and XBone) then you know what you are in for this time: exploring a big map for ammo, resources, hidden treasure, etc. but this time there are also side quest tombs which have you solving traversal puzzles to get from point A to point B using climbing, jumping, and thinking. Also you will be revisiting areas previously explored as it has a slight "Metroidvania" aspect of being in a place but not having the right equipment to reach a high ledge or open a jammed door until later in the game. Story at this point revolves around an ancient treasure that Lara's dad was searching for but never found and ultimately discredited him and shamed the Croft name. Lara has finally found clues dad missed and must race to get to the treasure before an evil mercenary group/cult called The Trinity can reach it.
Like I said I haven't been at this thing even halfway through but if you like the last Tomb Raider, if you like Uncharted, if you like exploration and light action games then you should love this one.

This item is no longer sold in Best Buy stores but no matter what version it is pre-loaded with you can update it (likely will be required to) before accessing online portions of games or the PSN store.

Not quite. As I understand it the PSP Go is a download only system, the games are the same but it doesn't have a UMD drive so you can't play your original PSP games with a PSP Go, it's like trying to make toast with a slot-less toaster!

my PSP doesn't load most games from umd drive. its in perfect condition besides that. if I brought it in could you fix it for me
I've never used Geek Squad but they should be able to at least troubleshoot the problem for you. However this will be a big expense for an outdated console, you'd be better served I think by doing an online chat or calling Sony to have them walk through some troubleshooting steps and then if it's broken they should still be able to repair it for you for what it would cost you to just have Geek Squad troubleshoot without repairs.
