Terminator 2 is a classic action movie and one of the talented director James Cameron's best films. There is not much left to say about this movie that hasn't already been said. I do wish the 4K transfer was handled a bit better in being more faithful to the original theatrical presentation, but overall this is a phenomenal movie no matter what!

A Fun Popcorn Movie

While this film does not reach the heights of the original Jurassic Park and I personally found the first Jurassic World to be overall superior, I still think that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a fun time in the "Popcorn Movie" type of way. The strongest part is J.A. Bayona's directing in this film. He has a great eye for framing shots and uses beautiful cinematography. The actors are all fun to watch and there are some great set pieces and visual effects. I just think the script could have been stronger in the second half of the film and the characters could have been more engaging. Overall, though, I liked this film and would recommend the 4K to anyone who did. I just wish the artwork they went with for the Steelbook was better and more inspired.

While this film got a negative reception, there is definitely fun to be had here. Tom Cruise is great in the role and, I might argue, pretty much makes the movie. Sofia Boutella is also great as the Mummy. Overall, I think this is an "okay to good" film that is pretty solid. It definitely could have benefited from a stronger script and more engaging characters, though. If you enjoyed it in theaters, the 4K is worth picking up.

This is a great remaster of an excellent God of War game! The gameplay is fun and entertaining, the graphics are awesome, and it's a quality Playstation exclusive. If you've played this before on the older system or you've never played this game, I would recommend this game. I really wish all 3 of the original God of War games got remastered like this one! That would be wonderful for those who don't own the older games.

This is a great collection that comes with the first 4 Jurassic films in both 4K, blu ray and the Digital format. The first Jurassic Park is a classic. The second is enjoyable. The third is the weakest in my opinion. Lastly Jurassic World, is a nice callback to the original and quite enjoyable. This a great value for your buck and I would recommend it. My only complaint is the packaging they used for storing the discs. I really hate these cardboard sleeves where you have to slide the discs in and out. It's inconvenient and most importantly it scratches and damages the discs which will result in playback issues after time. I wish more studios would move away from these cardboard booklet sleeves for storing discs. Overall, though, this is a nice collection.

I really love what Guillermo del Toro did with the first Pacific Rim. It is well directed and shot, the cinematography is beautiful and colorful throughout, the action is on a huge, epic scale, and the film is just fun and entertaining to watch. This film just oozes atmosphere and the visual effects are stunning. Plus, Ramin Djawadi's music score is grand, epic, and iconic which really adds to the overall experience. If you like "giant robot movies" this arguably might be the best. The base blu ray looks great and the 4K disc is pretty much a reference quality 4K transfer! If you want to give your entertainment center a good workout pick up this disc!

Paddington 2 is an absolute delight and a wonderful family movie. It is a very underrated, overlooked gem that has not gotten a lot of recognition from audiences for whatever reason. I guess it is not as mainstream as other family films, but don't let that deter you. This is a great family movie and a well-made film. Paul King returns as director and he has made a great sequel to the first Paddington. Paddington 2 has a great cast, a nice message, a ton of heart, and it's just one of those films that lifts your spirits and is a good time to watch. I recommend picking this one up.

Modern horror films can be pretty hit or miss these days. IT is an example of a modern horror film that is done right. Not only does it work well in the genre, but it is also a well-made film. If you don't like clowns or the horror genre, then you will not enjoy this. If you are a fan of the genre or you like to watch well directed, shot, and written films then this is a good one to pick up. This is pretty much a modern horror classic.

A Classic Batman Film

This may be an older film, but it is a classic. Tim Burton directed this film and really got the tone of The Dark Knight right for the first time in live-action. Danny Elfman's score also stands out as being iconic and would later be used as the main theme in the Batman: The Animated Series. Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson are a joy to watch in their roles as well. To me, this is the first great, live-action comic book movie and is an achievement for its time and influence on the genre and the industry. Overall, the blu ray is quite good considering this is an older film and I would recommend picking it up if you are a Batman fan!

Arguably the Best MI Movie Yet

Mission: Impossible - Fallout is an excellent action movie and ranks very highly in the MI series for me. MI 4, 5, and 6 are my favorites in the series, but I think this one may just be the best of them all. Director Christopher McQuarrie has interestingly chosen a different tone with this one compared to his last film Rogue Nation which works very well. His direction here is great, Rob Hardy's cinematography is beautiful especially in the IMAX scenes, and Lorne Balfe's music score is awesome and reminiscent of Hans Zimmer's score for The Dark Knight and Man of Steel in certain spots giving the film an epic feel. Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, and the rest of the cast are a joy to watch also. What really stands out is Tom Cruise's commitment to doing his own stunts and the great, practical action in this movie as well as the fight choreography. At the end of the day, it's just a well made film. If you enjoyed this movie in theaters or you just like a great action film, then pick this up on 4K. It is the best way to watch this at home. The Steelbook is also a nice touch for those who like interesting packaging. Highly Recommended.
