I must admit that I went in to Solo with low expectations after TLJ. While unnecessary, Solo is a fine addition to my collection, and certainly has the high ground among the prequels.

This movie, like all things, is perfectly balanced. It.s funny, but not too funny. It's dark, but not too dark. They even made it so Cap and Thor have beards, because having only one bearded superhero wouldn't be balanced. I'm glad Cap made the sacrifice to grow his beard out because the strongest choices require the strongest wills.

This one hits you right in the nostalgia. Really enjoyed all the callbacks to all the video games from the original Atari all the way to Halo. Good, solid, popcorn flick.

A Solid Sequel

Many will compare this to the first Super Troopers, which is a cult classic, and that's just not fair. The sequel holds its own, while not trying to be too much like the original. It's funny, slightly stupid, and as raunchy as you would expect from the Broken Lizard guys.
