Great retro title for a 4k collection

Classic 80s film re-issued for Blu Ray in 4k with an Atmos track. The picture is better than what I had before and sound is more like the cinema but given this is a dated film, it won’t be the quality of todays mixes and visuals and I knew that going in. I was really happy to get this because it has a nice set of extras and a choice of soundtracks and the musical score is wonderful. It was wonderful to see the Nancy Allen interview!
The Atmos track is louder than the others and I liked that there was a DTS-HD Master audio 5.1 and 4.0 track. Based on my accessment I liked both the Atmos and the DTS Master tracks plus the 4.0 is more faithful to the original. Those expecting a modern re-mix will be disappointed as this is a re-mastering of a classic film, not a completely re-mixed film with the dynamic range and stereo imaging of today.
Robocop was released in 70mm Dolby SR but I mostly remember seeing it in 35mm.

Best thing since sliced bread

Disney Plus has a Dolby Atmos problem with downloadable apps for Sony TVs. After using the app available to download from the Smart TV Google store, movies will only play in Dolby Digital Plus.
If a person needs to solve that problem and get the best possible picture and sound from streaming from any app, get the FireStick 4k Max. This device goes to an HDMI port on the TV and solves all the problems. It is also more affordable than purchasing the Apple TV 4K device. There is also an accessory available that can power the Fire stick with a USB port on the TV rather than connecting to power.

Once I learned to position the soundbar, setup was a breeze and the sound is quite enjoyable. Samsung delivers a good product and the dialogue is easier to hear and it’s fun to experience the atmos effects .

The E-ARC connection is absolutely essential for a jaw dropping Dolby and DTS-X experience. I have also experienced SACD and DVD Audio. I also strongly recommend an accessory like Apple TV or Amazon Firestick 4k Max as some TVs like Sony are not currently supporting the Dolby Atmos sound stream with DisneyPlus through the app downloaded to the TV. Although Smart TVs have the various apps, the best support of these apps may come from a dedicated Apple TV 4K device or Amazon Firestick 4k/4k Max add on device. Even if the app on the TV is supporting Dolby Atmos, the Firestick and Apple TV will better support the audio and video.

Is it compatible with other TV models
It can be used with Sony and other brands but to get the full suite of features, you will need to pair it with Samsung TVs. I use SONY and there are some adjustments but I chose Samsung due to the dedication of the brand to sounders and the price of the system which provided value.

How loud are these speakers? I am looking for speakers that is loud enough that even my neighbors can hear them
my volumes are usually between 15-26 and the soundbar has way more volume than that. I think you will be quite please with the levels available.

The rear speakers are not working at all. Everything else connected just fine and works amazing but not a sound out of the rear speakers. We did the software update as recommended and there is a solid blue light. What’s next?
What I found out is that the soundbar's panel must be facing upward (basically putting the soundbar on it's back) for everything to connect with a solid light (sub-woofer and rear speaker kit). I spent a long time trying to figure this out and I only figured it when I came back to the store and saw an installation and demo of the product. Once the panel (top of soundbar with the volume controls, on/off button, and source button) is facing upwards (towards the ceiling), everything will connect like magic!

How do you connect the rear speakers and subwoofer to the soundbar? The lights are blinking and are not connecting.
The soundbar had to be positioned where the panel (volume up/down, on off switch , source button) faces upwards and not facing forward. Once this was done, everything was seamless and the sub and rear speakers connected! I was very happy once I came back to Best Buy and heard the product on display and observed how the product was installed. I strongly suggest everyone seek out and hear the product in the store so that they don't have the experience I had.
