Good charger base, string batteries

Battery doors are included for both Xbox one and Xbox series x/s controllers! Love the dual compatibility. Batteries are long lasting and hold charge between uses. Lights on the base station aren’t annoyingly bright.
Only drawback is the way the controllers sit on the dock - it can be a little fiddly to make connection. Once you do, no problem - just not quite as hassle free as my previous gen Xbox controller charging dock from a different manufacturer.

Standalone GPS still has a place in a phone world

I’ve been a long time Garmin user, and this will be my 3rd. The last one was purchased around 2013, and the screen just started developing a black spot due to my own abuse after years of being left in the sun.
This new unit has the feature I’ve most wanted over the years- the ability to search an address (or location) via the app on my phone, then send it to the gps and go from there. Makes typing and searching a location so much more convenient.
Why shouldn’t I just rely on my smartphone for routing then? I currently live in Denver, and the Rocky Mountains are nearby. I also occasionally drive to Houston and there are huge dead cell areas on the way. Not needing to rely on an internet connection to navigate is vital for me. Not needing to worry about remembering to download a map ahead of time is big.
The screen is large and clear, route calculation is WAY faster than my 2013 model, and having Alexa able to control my Amazon Music playlist so well makes my car feel newer.
Super recommend even in a smartphone world.

Fast drive! Easy install

I moved from a 1TB Samsung EVO SSD to this drive when I built a new PC. Benchmarks show a marked increase, but in real world use I haven't noticed a crazy difference. The EVO SSD is 5 years old and running strong, so I have a good feeling on the longevity of this drive. Don't expect a night an day difference coming from an already fast SATA SSD though.

I own both the Companion 2 and Companion 20 sets

Several years ago, I bought the Bose Companion 2 set for my main gaming machine, and recently I built my wife a machine of her own, so I needed another set of speakers. This time I went for the Companion 20 series, and I'm impressed!
I live in an apartment, so too much bass is actually a bad thing as I don't want to distrurb the neighbors with a sub. The Companion 2 set sound good, but the Companion 20s sound much better! At first I didn't like the 20s but I realized it was because I had them very close to me when initially testing. Once I moved them just a little further back (actually on the sides of my monitor where they should be, the sound profile changed. Please make sure you are 18-24" away from these before you pass judgement! Love them now! No problems with the speakers sleeping when they shouldn't be.
