Absolutely happy with this purchase, and so glad I went with the 77” version. Picture clarity is so amazing. Pseudo 4K broadcast of the Super Bowl was incredible - hope more sports are available in 4K soon. Only drawback is that it is expensive compared to the 65” or other brands 75” offerings.

Sony won over a Bose user

At one time, I thought my Bose QC35s couldn't be beat- enter the Sony WH-1000XM3.
The sound cancelling works at least as well as my Bose on an airplane, with the added benefit of being less prone to "wind" noise when the overhead AC vents blow down on the headset. What sets these apart is the much better music quality- I was always OK with giving the Bose headsets a pass on lack of bass response etc due to how good the noise cancellation was- but now this Sony set does both! Battery life is great as well. I've only charged them 3x since owning them and have been on at least 10 flights along with other use in the office.

Enjoy brilliant color and sound with this Panasonic Ultra HD Blu-ray player. The chroma processing technology maximizes the color of 4K/HDR content, and the 7.1-channel audio output produces lifelike surround sound when connected to a home audio system. The color signals received by this Panasonic Ultra HD Blu-ray player are upgraded to produce natural textures and depth.

Connecting Panasonic DP-UB820 to Samsung Q80R tv and Samsung HW-Q90R sound bar. Manual for Blu-ray shows hdmi straight to tv or using hdmi video out to the tv and audio out to the “amplifier/receiver”. Is the sound bar considered the same as amplifier?
