I love this case, it's the same basic case that I've run on the past three iPhones I've had. This one has one significant difference. The previous generations the lines on the case stuck out, these are grooves inward (I presume this is due to the Magsafe compatibility). The fit is good, and it offers very good protection (much better than the Apple cases). Magsafe adapter does stick through this case, but it's significantly weaker than without a case.

Long battery life, absurdly good image quality, wireless. I’m at 87% 27 days since install. Motion detection is as good as can be expected. 10-20ft is a reasonable expectation.

The mounts are almost totally idiot proof (nothing is completely idiot proof).
I live on a body of hypersaline water. So far so good. First shot shows camera with sunlight directly glaring in the lens. Second is slightly later.
Third is dark out with pool lights on. (Yes I know the pool was dirty.)
The app is great. I have not linked it to HomeKit as you get a lower Res image. (

Word of warning, if you choose “best surveillance” under power management, expect it to only last ~30 days on a charge.
Love that it is battery powered as I have it on my outside gate and I didn’t have to run power out there. Works reliably for me. Image is very clear, night is better than expected.

Rewind 25-30yrs ago and I was playing a Sega handheld. This is like a newer version of that. Simple to use and loads of fun. I’m sure it has more capability than I’ll ever understand. Love that you can dock it and play on your TV as well.

This was my review for the switch itself. On the grip, it’s pretty awesome. I definitely recommend this grip to make the switch for normal sized adult hands.
One suggestion is when you’re taking the switch out of this grip. Remove the control pads then remove the switch itself from the grip. If you don’t do this you’re putting a large amount of force on the connection between the switch and the controllers.

The "C" wire on my current setup has been hijacked by the AC system. The installer had converted the 5 wires coming off my furnace to a 4 wire cable the runs up to the current Thermostat. Will the adapter be able to work with this environment?

Does the alternative c wire adaptor mean I need to snake a wire through the wall from my Tatat through the attic and to my heating cooling unit?
No. The adapter is very odd to me and the instructions took some interpretation.
Basically for the adapter to work you will have to get to the air handler. And the air handler needs to have a power source for the “c” wire. (My unit for exaplme doesn’t use a board with marked “r,c,w,g,y” terminals. And I found it much easier to just install a new thermostat wire with 5 leads). The adapter allows you to use your existing 4 wire thermostat wiring, it just changes how they are used to make sure the thermostat itself has power.

We only have 2 wires inside the wall where the old thermostat is. Can i install this thermostat? I see there is some kind of adapter, does this resolve that issue and how does it work? It sounds like it needs to be installed on the actual furnace?
