Quality video doorbell!

Ring Doorbell Pro is an excellent video doorbell choice. We replaced our video doorbell serviced through our alarm company, which barely worked at all. The Ring is far superior. The app works very well. Videos are clear. Connection is stable in my setup. Note that Ring requires at least 3mbps upload for it to work properly. We found that out the hard way. For most people that probably isn’t an issue but we are pretty well maxed out on a dated infrastructure to our home. Easy to install and setup. This bundle was a great value as well. I had some challenges setting up the first one I ordered and Ring support did their best to help but it was determined it was just a defective item. Best Buy, as always, is easy to do business with and I returned to the store and they sent another one out to me. They even refunded the difference as it went on sale for a lower price. We also paired this with the Ring alarm system and we are very happy with it as well. Low cost monitoring that comes with storage for videos for doorbells and cameras as well. While Ring products are a higher price point, the quality is very good and the low cost services make the overall investment an excellent value. Highly recommend.

So far this TV has been good. It is replacing another LG TV that all of a sudden went out. I didn't have a warranty so I'm saving it to check with a TV repair service. The picture is excellent. My biggest complaint is how noticeable the edge lighting is on a black background. I believe this is typical of edge lit displays but this is more noticeable than any other edge lit TV I've had. Not really a deal breaker since the picture is so great but it is somewhat annoying. The sound is impressive considering the speakers on TVs aren't much to brag about. The picture and audio settings are quite extensive.

So far we are enjoying the speaker. It is quite loud. Sound is decent. Decent bass. I'm not so sure we get the battery life it advertises but it does last for quite some time. So it came time for remote school for my son, who is a high school senior this year, and for some reason our aging backup PC laptops just decided to go downhill all of a sudden and weren't dependable; and he needed something quickly. Of course all that is left in stock are some of the more expensive computers...so this beast was the one. I don't regret it. We likely would have bought him a [probably lower priced] MacBook for college anyway. So, Happy Graduation, son!
This computer has all you need. Nicely size screen, plenty of storage, good battery life, it is fast. And don't worry about Macs being cluttered with a bunch of junk software like PCs that you have to spend hours cleaning it up first. Just boot, setup, and get to work or play. I would recommend any MacBook...but if you have to get this one don't feel bad about it. And, your Mac will last you for years.

A few months ago I upgraded to the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad. I haven't regretted it. When my original Magic Mouse batteries died I decided I would upgrade to the Magic Mouse 2. Easy recharging with the included lightning cable...no more batteries! This mouse seems to lose connection less than the original as well...actually it hasn't lost it at all. Overall, worth it.

This has been a great router so far. For the price point there is plenty of value here. I have long been a Netgear user but the interface of the ASUS is quite an upgrade. More modern. Faster. Less buggy. More features. And it just works well. Easy to setup. This was an upgrade for us in Wi-Fi specs as well. Better range and overall better speed and performance across the network. We only have one Wi-Fi 6 AX device and it seems to provide a slight performance enhancement above AC. AC devices seem to play well with AX turned on. I haven’t added any mesh nodes yet so I cannot comment to that but the affordability of ASUS mesh networks is one reason I chose this router and I’m looking forward to adding those in the future as we do have some dead spots that were slightly better now with this router. Overall decent coverage around 2500 square foot u-shaped home with router installed high on a shelf near the center of the home.

I had the smaller Magic Keyboard that comes with iMac but as we pivoted to work from home during Covid-19 shelter-in-place I really needed something with the numeric keypad and the larger format with additional functions. I like that it is rechargeable using just a lightening cable too...I was getting tired of getting batteries. I'm planning the get the Magic Mouse 2 for the same reason.

This is the second version of Apple Watch I bought for my wife. She loves it. We both have the 3...I've never regretted it. If you have an active lifestyle and like to keep up with your movements and get motivated, get this watch. Even if you're lazy, get this watch because you don't even have to get off the couch to get your phone to receive a call or text, or even set or turn off your phone alarm. Of course you need an iPhone...but they're meant to be together. I noticed this is on sale at Best Buy as I write this and I didn't get that deal so order one now and go pick it up.
