My wife has wanted one of these type ice machines for quite sometime. So when this came up as a deal of the day it was a no brainer. She loves it.
We’ve actually had it for several months now. This has been a convenient machine to have for extra ice when we need it. Although my wife likes the ice so much she pretty much uses it exclusively over the fridge ice. It makes ice quickly and if you keep emptying it you’ll have quite a bit in no time. If you don’t empty it will just melt and make more. It’s a little noisy but not a huge deal.
It looks nice as well, in the stainless steel finish.
If you’re looking for one of these I recommend this Insignia version.

I didn’t really intend on getting one of these but I’m glad I did. I don’t plan on testing it out to save my screen but I’m confident it will do the job.
It does stay quite clear and clean during use.
The only downside is the lint that collects on the edges. But not really a deal breaker for me.

Well done, Apple. This is my favorite iPhone to date. I was skeptical of “the notch” and FaceID, but I realized it wasn’t going away and my 6s was showing it’s age with battery life (although iOS 12 really made it much faster). The experience on this phone is so fluid. It is very intuitive, easy and fast to navigate. And FaceID...nice. I don’t like having to use TouchID on my other devices now.
If you’re unsure of these next gen features like I was, I assure you won’t be disappointed. Get one.
