FE:3H is at times a great entry in the series, and has tons of content and replay value, but the obvious Persona influence has fractured the gameplay experience. Unfortunately, Garreg Mach is not fully realized enough to justify its existence and serves as nothing more than padding to delay the gratification of the series' (mostly) stellar battles.
It also doesn't help that this game seems to have been made on a threadbare budget. Character models are great, but the environments would've looked underwhelming during the Gamecube era. That is if they're even rendered, as support conversations stretch and warp 2D backgrounds into unnatural shapes to mimic depth. Those support conversations also get tiresome after a while as characters stick to their one defining trope (I'm a noble, I need to marry someone, I'm a female character in this game so I was abused and/or tortured somehow).
Outside of supports, the mostly motionless characters weave a decent plot in cutscenes, but the main issue the story has is that it is entirely told and not shown. It's almost as if we're getting the cliff notes version of the events. Also, splitting the story into 4 paths (and an eventual 5th through DLC) only serves to fracture it further, pad it for "value", and make the entire experience a repetitive, grueling slog.
Gameplay has seen a bit of a boon with a large increase in customization, but when characters have designated strengths and weaknesses, this is nothing more than a smokescreen as only a few classes are truly viable for each character. Also, most classes tend to do about the same thing, so don't expect any customization satisfaction on the level of Final Fantasy Tactics. This is still a basic strategy game as the series has always been. Unless this system becomes much more flexible, I would personally prefer a return to predefined classes instead of this homogeneity.
In the end, I enjoyed this game but I hope this isn't the direction it takes in the future.

I bought this because I had to have a cable immediately, otherwise I would've waited on Amazon. It's decent quality, but for how short it is, this is just a terribly overpriced item and I would suggest looking elsewhere if possible.

First, the negatives: Even after the patches, if you want any cosmetics you're going to grind your life away at a snail's pace. NRS has also stealthily increased the difficulty again, so add needless frustration on top of that as well. This is a huge shame, because otherwise MK11 may be the best MK ever released. Some characters need to be rebalanced, but otherwise it plays better than ever and easily rivals the best fighting games currently on the market. Even with the grindathon, there is a wealth of content for fans of the genre.

There are three types of people when it comes to Kingdom Hearts, and I will recommend it based on the following. You are either:
A) A fan from the beginning who is desperate to see this dramatic conclusion and can recall every event and character without referring to an encyclopedia
B) A person who played the first game and enjoyed it for being the simple and clean Final Fantasy/Disney mash-up that it was, but detests the pretentious, convoluted mess that became after COM and KHII
C) A fan who likes the gameplay, loves the atmosphere, and also loves mercilessly mocking Tetsuya Nomura's attempts at writing.
So, with that out of the way, here's a short review for each type of fan:
A) This is the game for you. So many arcs that have been built up over the years are finally being resolved. There's so much fanservice, so many returning characters, so many Xehanorts, plus there are even new mysteries built up.
B) This is NOT the game for you. This is exactly the same as the rest of this series. I mean, it's a freaking Disney property, why did it have to be injected with all of this jarring emo weeb stuff? It's just more and more hearts, darkness, pretentious ramblings, nonsensical plot twists, etc. Don't waste your time.
C) Oh man is this the game for you. This thing is a blast to play, probably the best in the entire series. Sure, attractions do get a little old after seeing them for the millionth time, but it's so much fun. It's also probably the most balanced the series has ever been. Speaking of fun, you'll be laughing at this game's bizarre logic constantly. There's cheesy anime delivery, nonsensical plot points, and infantile attempts at symbolism galore.
I probably fit into group C myself, and I've been enjoying the game a fair deal. I haven't played every game in the series, limited to mainly KHI and II in the past and catching up with the PS4 collections, but I've always had a soft spot for this wonderful, stupid series. I would personally recommend it even as an entry point to KH, as you're going to be lost anyways, so might as well start with the most fun, modern version possible. It's certainly not a perfect game, as the camera is a bit unwieldy, some boss fights are a bit obtuse due to broken mechanics, and movement is just a tiny bit too fast, but overall it's a very solid game made by a team that obviously cared very much about what they were they were making. Perhaps a bit too much.
Delight your kids with these Kiddesigns youth Pokemon headphones. These headphones have built-in volume limitations to ensure little ears stay safe from hearing damage, and the Pokeball graphics on the earpieces make them extra cool. The headband on these Kiddesigns youth Pokemon headphones is soft and adjustable to fit your child's head comfortably.

Got these for my son for his elementary school and he loves them. They've held up much longer than other headphones in slightly lower price ranges, though they are a bit stiff. The color and art design is great though. The sound is nothing to write home about, and is comparable to typical $10-$15 headphones, but these stand out due to their looks. Definitely get them if your child is a fan.

Fantastic Game, Unfairly Punishing for New Players

I've played SSB since the N64 days, and this is by far the best installment. Everyone's here, after all. Almost all of the stages are back, there's a wealth of music, classic mode provides unique twists for every character, and World of Light is tons of fun! I don't play online so I can't comment there, but I have to discuss why I've lowered this from 5 to 4 stars.
This game is beyond unfairly difficult for new players. I wanted to introduce this to my 6 year old son, but even Normal difficulty seems to be on SSF2T difficulty at times. I can't imagine any child with no experience in the series having any fun whatsoever, especially given all single-player content has no stock counts. If you're a parent, avoid this game. Otherwise, if you are experienced or like failing over and over again, it's a ton of fun and easily one of the best games currently on the Switch.

MKXL is one of the best deals in the fighting game genre. It takes an already massively content-rich game and adds on all of its DLC as well. As for the game itself, MKX is a bit of a step down from MK9. The Kombat Kids are for the most part lame or generic, many fan favorites are gone for story reasons, and the variation system needlessly chops up characters for complexity's sake when only one variation is usually viable. It still carries over MK9's increased strategy and finesse, and at least somewhat competes with other 2D fighters on the market.

Read Dead Redemption II is more than a game, it's an experience very rarely seen. It aspires to be so much more than just a game, but unfortunately in doing so it sacrifices convenience and fun for realism at times. Let's start with the negatives:
-You're going to waste a lot of time on horseback. Even when you eventually purchase fast travel, it's a one-way trip and is basically useless since you have to start out from camp. You'll be away from camp most of your time. -If you so much as sneeze on someone, you're getting a bounty. This isn't a problem in the beginning of the game when there are only a few people milling about, but once you get to more congested areas with people who are clearly programmed to walk into you or create obstacles, you pretty much have to move at a snail's pace through them which is not fun. -The constant stat drain and upkeep, even with the special edition's boosts, is more annoying than anything. You can ignore it for the most part, but it's still there, always nagging at you to polish things up. -You're going to want to go to the Story section in the menu and manually save after every single minor task you do, because you will be attacked out there, and you will lose everything--your horse, your pelts, etc. You're gonna have a bad time if you just rely on autosaves. -Morality is affected by the most bizarre of things. Protecting yourself from getting shot? That's bad, apparently. Helping someone that's being beaten, and only using your fists so you don't kill them as the game said? Oh wait, fists apparently do kill people now, you lowered your morality, and you've got a bounty.
Now for the positives:
-This game is the equivalent of an art film given a Marvel budget, and it's a wonder to behold. It's refreshing to see such a meditative, deliberate, and methodical game get this kind of love and exposure. You have to have patience to enjoy this game, as it's a real slow burn. If you are looking for a high adrenaline action, please look elsewhere at 99% of gaming. -The story and dialogue are fantastic. There's humor, menace, real drama and humanity...it's something you don't see from many games. Sure, there are lowbrow moments that bring it down a notch (game writing still hasn't caught up to film after all) but it's leagues beyond the average output of the medium. -The main missions are fantastic. While the world itself can become tedious with its focus on realism, the main missions are all enjoyable, and of course there are a ton of them. This game is huge.
It seemed like there were more negatives than positives right? In the end those negatives are more nitpicks than anything, and once you learn the game's idiosyncracies it becomes much more enjoyable. I would give this my personal GOTY recommendation if only the game wasn't so inconvenient at times, but it's still one of the highest quality experiences of this generation, and a worthy successor to one of my favorite games from the previous generation.
