great machine - terrible keyboard design

Laptop speed and abilities are exactly what the doctor ordered. 2 flaws, IMHO:
1) peculiar placement of the power button - it is in the middle of the function keys - between "f12" and "delete", exactly the same shape - not unique in any way excepting for the symbol, which brings me to....
2) backlit keyboard is useless. extremely dim to no light passes through the cutouts on the keys and instead bleeds from the bottom of the keys making them indistinguishable - hence finding the power button in the dark nearly impossible.

Tried it. It is now in a closet at work. I try thing s to get beyond the "get used to it" period. Unfortunately, that took too long for returning this. The final nail in the coffin is the lack of backlighting on the keys. I work in a darkened room and the only key that seemed to get used was "backspace"

it is a good mouse, plenty of buttons and can assign functions to all of them through the software. Battery lasts seemingly forever between charges. Only complaint is lack of "magnifier" in and out function built in. have to use the "run program" in the software to call the function and can only zoom in, not out.

After 2 years' owing this, the screen is still fantastic and product functions well when it gets "booted up". Seems to take longer to get out of sleep mode now than when new. For example, it tells me to "unlock with fingerprint", I put finger on sensor and the tablet is not ready for it and the screen turns off. wait about a minute and all is fine,

I just hooked up my new AVR. My zone 2 was not producing very much volume. Is zone 2 capable of lots of volume. My speakers are direct wired for the back yard.

Does this unit allow you to play different music in each zone? For example: can I watch a movie in the main zone and play music via an airplay 2 device (iPhone).
I'm sorry, but no. According to the manual:
"The same input source is applied to both Zone A and Zone B."
You can play either zone, or both, but all speakers will play the same thins.
I believe you can move up a level or so to get the function you desire, but am not sure.

My TV has apps like Netflix and other streaming services. For sound to run through my audio system the amp must support Audio Return Channel. It’s generally HDMI 2 on most 4K TVs. Does this receiver support ARC? If not, which one does? Thank you.
yes it does support ARC. Make sure the "HDMI Control" in the setting menu is set to "on" nd then choose "HDMI" - "ARC Enable".
It should be the default setting of ARC on.
