I wanted a smaller unit because lugging my old 8K BTU unit was breaking my back moving it from my basement to the bedroom. However, I was a little leery about it not being strong enough to cool my room. Boy, was I wrong. This little unit cools like a champ!

I choose this Garmin GPS mount because of its low profile. However, I found that the base may be too small. Its footprint is very narrow and would easily bounce around when I was taking a turn in my car. I had to return it for another Gamin mount with a larger base.
