Yes it’s NOT full Atmos. But, WOW, in typical Nolan fashion, you’ve never heard 5.1 as good as this!!! I was blown away at the LFE impact throughout the movie. Great colors and details with the HDR. The story is mesmerizing and I’ve had to watch this several times. Completely worth it.

This was a good start to the new Godzilla franchise, and I was glad to finally see this come to 4K after Godzilla KOM. Though quite a bit darker video overall, the 4K UHD presentation really helps this tremendously. Love the sound, especially the low rumbles below 20 Hz! Once the action picks up, it’s a fun ride.

I love this movie and am happy to have the 4K UHD with HDR upgrade. Full stop. BUT, I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t include the Blu-ray and a full ATMOS soundtrack in this 10th anniversary edition. That said, I still really enjoyed this better version. Worth the upgrade.

The opening scenes of the aerial assault behind enemy lines was absolutely demo worthy for any serious home theater setup. Running a 7.2.4 had my entire home pressurized. The journey behind enemy lines amid secret horrific human experiments was an enjoyable ride. It was a gripping horror movie and included several really effective jump scares along the way. Color and contrast we’re eye catching and the 4K detail - wow!

Honestly this is one of my favorites to just sit down and turn up to veg with. It has some great fight sequences and AMAZING sound. The bed layers of a surround system, and the subs get a real workout. The concussion of the 50 caliber rifle firing was so impactful!
The addition of Jon Bernthal was an added treat. The 4K UHD was extremely sharp and detailed, with great contrast especially in the darker scenes.

This was such an enjoyable journey. The incredible details and color is what really stood out in this 4K UHD release. Since I have the full 7.2.4 Atmos setup, I was also treated to an amazingly immersive sound experience as well. This had a fun cast of characters to meet along the way including “Boy” the dog. You are in for a treat, and will enjoy this more than once.

Once again 4K UHD with HDR10 or Dolby Vision is showcased. It also has a very strong grainy film look that is intentional in this movie. The dark scenes are incredibly contrasted to great effect. The Dolby Atmos and LFE are exceptional as well. The aliens coming out of the ground for the initial ground assault is stunning in how low it digs with a subwoofer.
Nice that it also includes the Blu-ray and digital versions.

Visuals were fantastic with the 4K UHD and Dolby Vision. This is a fun scary story your tween and up kids can enjoy over and over. A little disappointed that it didn’t have the full Atmos track though, but that won’t matter for many. The price was decent since I picked it up on sale, and it includes a digital version along with the HD Blu-ray.

Hook up home theater components with this Rocketfish digital optical audio cable. The compact connectors on the 1.5-foot wiring are precisely shaped to hold securely.
Will this cord connect soundbar to Panasonic plasma tv?
Unfortunately, without a specific tv model number, there is no way to determine with any certainty whether or not the optical cable will work with a sound bar. Check the tv outputs first. If it has a digital optical output, you should have no problem. Also, keep in mind the proximity of the tv output and sound bar input to be sure this is the correct length.

Can you drive the speaker system from an AV receiver? My setup is video input --> AV receiver --> speaker system. I'd like to run the soundbar and sub as speakers tied to the AV receiver.....
Although you could, I wouldn’t recommend this. Since you already have an amp, it would be a much better use of your money to buy a decent set of bookshelf speakers with sufficient low end. If you think that’s not enough, add a small powered sub later. That will blow this small sound bar away IMHO. I set one up for my mom, but I am used to NHT 2.9s with a center and Bowers & Wilkins 610 sub.
Open box Polk or Klipsch Reference small bookshelf speakers for a nice savings could be a great option UNDER $200.

Could you connect this to your tv ? What im trynna ask is would I be able to hear everything they said on the tv thru the stereo
Yes. I used the included optical cable and connected it to my mother’s small (40”) Vizio TV. I turned off the TV speakers as well. Couldn’t have been easier. I moved the wireless sub around to several locations until it was hard to hear where it was coming from. The sub is not loud, but better than just the TV speakers.
