A finale and package worthy of Thor’s hammer!

This was almost a Herculean task to expect the culmination of over ten year’s worth of movies to be good BUT, imho, the Russo bros. and everyone else (particularly Downey!) pulled. It. Off. Love the movie and I hardly notice the 3-hour runtime. The steelbook has great art work and fits in nicely with any collection.
I will say this: I think Best Buy needs to start coming up with some alternatives to the steelbook. When almost all new big releases get their own steelbook than they start to feel less special. I like the limited variety but if it gets people to buy physical media then let’s come up with more packaging choices. Target does good with special storybook packaging so maybe something like that?
Anyway, no complaints about this steelbook or movie! Plus a nice assortment of bonus features plus audio commentary which is always my personal favorite!

Best experience for the movie that kicked off MCU

You’re getting 4K, what more could you want? A sleek steelbook featuring the original poster art? Got it! This is a great package for the first Iron Man and the movie itself is still enjoyable. The picture is maxed out and looks great in 4K. Bonus: if you redeem the digital copy through Vudu you get lots of bonus features including a compilation of behind-the-scenes videos and character history that runs over three hours! Can’t imagine I’ll ever need another copy of this again...though I’m sure Marvel/Disney will try :)

This set features both entry into the original sci-fi comedy franchise. In Ghostbusters, a team of scientists calling themselves the 'Ghostbusters' attempt to save New York City from an influx of evil supernatural spirits; in Ghostbusters 2, the Ghostbusters are reunited after a huge river of ectoplasm is discovered.

Can't Imagine Needing To Ever Buy Again

They will undoubtedly keep re-releasing Ghostbusters in perpetuity because there's always money to be made, BUT this for me is the ultimate edition. It's both movies with an amazing 4K transfer and accompanying audio AND some new bonus features that actually make it worth it. Particularly some of the new deleted scenes that finally provide context around a few other things in the movies. Specifically we finally get to see an unfinished version of the infamous 'Fort Detmerring Ghost' scene which is cool. And as far as Ghostbusters II, they've included a longer version of the in-movie advertisement the Ghostbusters do to announce their return. It's in this extended scene you see moments of what made the original so special start to come forward in the sequel. Wish it would've stayed in the original movie intact, but oh well! At least we have it now as a bonus feature to see.
The only downside I will say is it's a little hard tracking everything down across all of the discs included. They didn't redo any of the discs from the previous release to include the new goodies that are specific to each film. Instead, for the new stuff you have to pop in a separate disc to find the new stuff. Not the worst thing in the world but not the most convenient either.
Still, this being one of my all time favorite movies I was looking for a reason to upgrade from Blu-ray to 4K. THIS release finally justified it beyond the resolution. Love it and especially love the clean, classic look of the Steelbook case :)

This double feature contains both entries in the Super Troopers series. In Super Troopers, a group of inept Vermont state troopers try to save their jobs by solving a crime; in Super Troopers 2, the troopers are tasked with establishing a Highway Patrol station in a border-disputed area.

Great Steelbook, Good Movie, So-So Sequel

I'm an avid fan of still collecting physical movies and will continue to until I can't. That said I always appreciate a good 'special edition'/'collector's item' and steelbook cases are usually right up there. This captures the tone of these movies in a fantastic and fairly minimal illustration. As for the movies? Hey, if you like straight-forward irreverent humor then 'Super Troopers' goes down easily enough with plenty of quotes to be shared.
