These are very good, no noise when off, no glitches. I had tried a couple of brands off Amazon but ended up returning them because of the above mentioned reasons. GE ones are way too expensive so I gave these a try and so far they have performed. Colors are not as “strong” or as accurate as other brands......but they work for me.

My Epson 5040UB is just over 2yrs old, and is now burning out lamps. Original lamp had 2200hrs. The second lamp lasted 21hrs, and the last lamp lasted only 2hrs. Both replacement lamps were identical to original. Any ideas?
Identical to the original is not good enough. If you want to get the same hours out of the lamp, get an oem one. There are a lot of vendors out there promising oem like functionality, when their product is actually below manufacturer’s standards. Epson lamps are not that expensive.
