I owned the original version of these.....I was hesitant to upgrade because of how happy I was with them...decided to try the Momentums 2 and to my surprise the noise canceling makes a huge difference in my opinion and the bass is even deeper! Plus, no more draining of the battery issues!!

My Epson 5040UB is just over 2yrs old, and is now burning out lamps. Original lamp had 2200hrs. The second lamp lasted 21hrs, and the last lamp lasted only 2hrs. Both replacement lamps were identical to original. Any ideas?
Identical to the original is not good enough. If you want to get the same hours out of the lamp, get an oem one. There are a lot of vendors out there promising oem like functionality, when their product is actually below manufacturer’s standards. Epson lamps are not that expensive.
