After watching the early trailers for this movie I wasn’t sure this character would fit in to the story especially so soon to the finale Endgame. I remember when Sam Jackson was suffering the fate of Thanos snap and hit a signal to Capt Marvel I heard this is the future of the MCU. That wasn’t clear and now seeing the layout of the future it makes sense loosing at least 3 major members of the MCU another strong Hero was needed. I was happy to see another Woman (especially losing Black Widow) take on the role and with the re-edition of Jane this should make for some interesting additions. Plus she had a first good scene with Peter and Thor. Looking forward to how she develops as the series is about to take a major turn changing personnel!

MCU LIGHT

I never heard of guardians of the galaxy before the movie came out. I’m not a huge comic book guy. This being the first exposure showed a lighter side to the MCU with humor mixed in with action. When they added Thor to the group in Ragnarok it showed how the films could come together and work. Changing Thor’s Character to a lighter tone might not have been possible without the addition of guardians!

I definitely thought Iron Man 3 was solid thanks to Robert Downey Jr. He was truly the anchor of the entire MCU. His acting in the finale Endgame was worthy of an Oscar nomination. I also thought he was the one who made the Spider-Man movies a big success (the ones under the MCU). I was uncertain of Tom Holland, but pairing him with Downey made them huge successes. Civil War (under the Capt American banner) was really Avengers 2.5 and again Downey added to the strength of the film.

Still Great fun

This movie series has been one of the most fun in the Disney Library. Hard to imagine if Disney didn’t strike the deal with Pixar to keep them under the Disney Banner. Toy Story 4 is the 4th movie in a series of 4 great movies. Each one takes new turns and highlights different characters with Woody and Buzz being the leaders. Forky was the break out character of part 4. If you haven’t seen these 4 movies they are all truly excellent!

The start of the MCU

Iron man kicked off a 10 year pay day for Disney that has gone 10 years straight without a total dud and in some cases most bank over a billion or right close to that. Bad movies tend not to make a billion dollars. Iron man with John Favareau (Mandalorian) and Robert Downey Jr started the run with Iron Man. I take a star off Disney 4K movies because technically they aren’t true 4K. They are basically upscaled blu rays, but they still look great. If you have the blu ray no need to upgrade unless you have ocd like me. Plus, the steelbook deal Best Buy had was so good you could get all 3 Iron Man movies for 14.99 each with the third free. So 9.99 each movie while the regular packaged 4K were still 34.99 a piece.

Finally we get season 19,complete with commentaries on every episode. Only on dvd, which is kind of lame (especially for the price), but I’ll take dvds over nothing! Word is they already have commentaries recorded for season 20, but they rushed that season out years ago because of high definition? So now that they filled the whole with 19 giving collectors 1-20 is this the end? I hope not! The longest running series on TV deserves better! I hope they will at least rerelease 20 with commentaries. If you haven’t listened to them before they shed so much light on the ideas for the show! This is the best part of having them on dvd/blu ray! Grab this one because no guarantee there will be anymore. Now that Disney holds the rights maybe we’ll see a change and they will catch up on the missing 10 years?, but not holding my breath.

The final monologue in this film is great enough alone to warrant a positive review. But the entire film is so well shot in black and while is awesome. Like many criterion blu rays there’s a great picture and fantastic extras. If you are a student of sociology this is a must own. Should be shown in every sociology and film class!

The price was recently raised and these were released as a new model - now being called Arcade1up Marvel Pinball II. Are there any known changes from the first edition?
Can you get an extended warranty? If something goes wrong who comes down to fix it? Is this hard to assemble? Thanks
I had the original model at $599 but it did not work out of the box. Now I am seeing all of these positive reviews. I was wondering did arcade1up fix the issues with the originalpinball machine and now it works fine?
There was a fix you could get from Arcade 1up. Go to the website and fill out a ticket and describe your problem. 1up will send you a response asking for a picture of you 1up pinball that includes the serial number. Then you should receive a link with a download to fix your pinball. You’ll need a PC with windows 10. If you get nowhere or it takes too long search YouTube for a fix (may find an even better solution). Best wishes

What are the dimensions?
If you check Arcade1ups site you should be able to fine the exact dimensions. With the riser these are about 5ft high w/o 4ft and about 2 feet wide. But they are coming out with all sorts of new units to fit all sorts of places. Smaller counter top units for 99 dollars with an 8inch screen are coming. They also have coffee tables that are sit down units and also just announced very small portable units between 30-50 dollars.

My last SD card I had for my Switch burnt out in a few months despite me barely even using most of the storage on it. Is this one btter built so that it will be more reliable for use with the Switch?
Not sure what maker you used. This is made by Scan Disc not Nintendo or a cheap 3rd party. Scan disc is usually a solid quality disc. I certainly hope this one won’t burn out fast and based on the regular price it shouldn’t. If you tried a cheap company to get a better price that may be the issue, but most people trust scan disc and I’ve never had a problem.
