Let~s start with a quick round up. This is the best all-round TV. Hands down. Movies, gaming, sports... it~ll handle anything you can throw at it and look great doing it (try not to actually throw stuff, it~s just a figure of speech). No surprise when it~s got 4K resolution, Quantum Dot Color, Dolby Vision HDR, 120Hz native panel, Full Array Local Dimming Zones, anti-glare panel and powerful 1,500 nit peak brightness. What does all that mean? It~s like gazing at the sun melting into the Mediterranean Sea from Ibiza~s coolest bars. But sitting on your couch. At home. Then for gaming, we added Variable Refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and FreeSync Premium to make the most of the latest generation gaming platforms. Even if you don~t know what half this stuff means, one look at the picture and you~ll want it.

Not good for Apple/Sonos users

Amazing picture quality for this price range, it’s better than my $1800 Samsung. It would easily get 5 stars from me if it worked better with Apple TV and the Apple+ app.
I have a brand new Apple TV 4K (2021) and Sonos Arc to go along with the new Hisense. I’m a heavy apple user, so I downloaded the Apple TV+ app. After about 5-10 seconds, the content freezes regardless if it’s in HD or not. The Apple app is brand new to the Android TV, so I figure it will work someday in the future, however I didn’t want to wait that long so I hooked up the Apple TV 4K, and there are some problems. There are MAJOR audio delays when watching anything that is not in Dolby Atmos (which is like 75% of everything). I tried using every settting from every device, and the problem persists. I’m assuming this problem is a Hisense issue and not a Sonos or Apple problem, because it all works just fine on my Samsung TV. I hope this issue gets resolved soon, because I LOVE everything else about the TV. But if it doesn’t get resolved in the next 15 days I may have to return the TV.

The simplistic look of the Marantz brand is aesthetically pleasing and the clarity and warmth of the sound is jaw dropping. I was surprised how big of an upgrade in sound this was compared to much older Marantz sr6007.
My favorite feature is “Video Select Mode”, which allows me to listen to music from my CD Player, Sonos, or Record player while at the same time watching ESPN or any other video I’d like.
My only complaint so far is the audio is out of sync whenever I attempt to use Dolby Atmos from my Apple TV, this could be an AppleTV issue, I’m not sure yet. It’s also a fairly complicated setup when attempting to achieve the precise settings for my needs.

This was my big Covid-19 hunkering down purchase and so far well worth it. Most people buy this TV to hang discretely on their wall, I however did not buy it for this reason and instead am using it as a traditional tv to go right in my book shelf/entertainment center, surrounded by speakers, books, and records. The reason is I’d still rather have something pleasant to look at (art) when not in use as opposed to a big black rectangle. It works great for this and is indeed a pleasant look. Art mode is brilliant and the motion sensor works perfectly. Coming from a 10 year old 50” Panasonic plasma TV, the 65” 4K HDR picture is visually stunning and after a week of use I’m still in a bit of shock.
There was a bit of a learning curve for me to get it to work with my universal remote and all the right settings, but really no complaints. Well done Samsung.
