BeatsPro vs J.Bird Vista

A little context here, I’ll admit it, I am a bit of a headphones snob. I mean, I got the Sennheiser HD800S, that’s about as snobby as it gets. So I spend A LOT of time with headphones listening to music and stuff.
I decided to finally jump into the True Wireless market because true wireless headphones are a nice workout companion. So the obvious choice came down to PowerBeats Pro vs Jaybird Vista. I initially went with the Vistas because they are smaller, cheaper, look nicer (in my opinion), and seemed better for everyday use. But, as it turned out, the Vistas were just too uncomfortable in my ears, fatigue set it after about 30 minutes. I also wasn’t a fan with the lack of buttons. Other than that they were fantastic. But the fatigue issue was too much of a problem for me so I returned them.
I had no intention of purchasing the PowerBeats Pro until the price dropped down to $199. That price was more on par with the Vistas. After about 4 days of constant use, I am very happy with the PowerBeats Pro, and declare them the winner. At first I was very skeptical because, again, the headphones were hurting my ears after about an hour or so. Not so great, but better than the Vistas. However, after getting more familiar with the Beats I can go almost all day long now without them hurting. I think I was initially forcing them too far down the ear canal (in the past that’s how earbuds have worked for me in order to get the tight seal). Later I realized jamming them into the ears is unnecessary because of the way the PowerBeats Pro are angled. So as long as I gently attach them to my ears with no force at all in a very relaxed manner, it’s wonderful. Good design here from the Beats makers. I am pleasantly surprised by how good of a seal I’m getting.
On top of that, they sound great (exaggerated bass of course but I like that for working out). The phone calls are way better than I expected, it’s awesome, and the compatibility with Apple products is a beautiful experience.
So bravo Dr.Dre or whomever designed these, I dig it.

I tried the Jaybird True Wireless Vista's in hopes that it would be a worthy upgrade, but I'm sticking with the X3's. While the Vista's have made some really great progress in the True Wireless market, they still don't sound as good as these X3 headphones, and I like having buttons I can physically push. So I'm still holding out until something better comes along. For now I'm quite happy with the X3.

Let~s start with a quick round up. This is the best all-round TV. Hands down. Movies, gaming, sports... it~ll handle anything you can throw at it and look great doing it (try not to actually throw stuff, it~s just a figure of speech). No surprise when it~s got 4K resolution, Quantum Dot Color, Dolby Vision HDR, 120Hz native panel, Full Array Local Dimming Zones, anti-glare panel and powerful 1,500 nit peak brightness. What does all that mean? It~s like gazing at the sun melting into the Mediterranean Sea from Ibiza~s coolest bars. But sitting on your couch. At home. Then for gaming, we added Variable Refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and FreeSync Premium to make the most of the latest generation gaming platforms. Even if you don~t know what half this stuff means, one look at the picture and you~ll want it.

Amazing picture quality for this price range, it’s better than my $1800 Samsung. It would easily get 5 stars from me if it worked better with Apple TV and the Apple+ app.
I have a brand new Apple TV 4K (2021) and Sonos Arc to go along with the new Hisense. I’m a heavy apple user, so I downloaded the Apple TV+ app. After about 5-10 seconds, the content freezes regardless if it’s in HD or not. The Apple app is brand new to the Android TV, so I figure it will work someday in the future, however I didn’t want to wait that long so I hooked up the Apple TV 4K, and there are some problems. There are MAJOR audio delays when watching anything that is not in Dolby Atmos (which is like 75% of everything). I tried using every settting from every device, and the problem persists. I’m assuming this problem is a Hisense issue and not a Sonos or Apple problem, because it all works just fine on my Samsung TV. I hope this issue gets resolved soon, because I LOVE everything else about the TV. But if it doesn’t get resolved in the next 15 days I may have to return the TV.
