Not a suitable replacement for Nest Protect

I've purchased a handful of these now to replace my expired Nest Protects. As far as the functionality in the Google Home app, they integrate very well - just like the old Protects. That being said, they are less attractive, they use inferior batteries that have to be changed more frequently, and there's no pathlight. For the price of these units, I expected much better.

The Roku interface is great, and the panel has a really nice image. I opted to adjust some of the picture settings and I ensured that I had my devices connected with high-speed HDMI so that I could take advantage of DolbyVision. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The iPad mini is my favorite version of the iPad. It's the perfect size for reading, watching movies on a plane, etc. I like that I can easily hold it on one hand, and I was excited to hear rumors that Apple would be refreshing the mini this year (2024). Unfortunately, that rumor was revised/retracted, and the latest news says Apple won't refresh the mini until 2026.

This microwave does the job and looks attractive in my kitchen amongst all my other slate-colored GE appliances. I purchased it to replace an older version of this same model that stopped working. It looks almost identical to the older model, at a glance, but some of the buttons have changed location, and they're actually slightly less sensitive to touch (which I see as a negative). I preferred the older model, if I'm being honest, but this is still a good microwave.
