I wouldn't have paid extra for the metal box but it was the only bluray version in stock. It is kind of cool, probably not worth the extra $5.
The movie itself is a lot of fun. Momoa gets a little weird when he tries to be funny but I appreciate the balance of humor and action. I hope the franchise does well and would recommend the movie as fun and a good watch.

My ONE complaint is that they no longer come with Windows 10 Pro. What the heck?! This is a Surface *PRO* - why is Microsoft now loading them with the Home version?

I've bought probably a dozen Surface Pro tablets since the earliest version. They are generally great, every iteration is better than the last. For some unknown (to me) reason the 6th generation Surface *Pro* laptop comes with Windows 10 Home.
This seems like a bad mistake to me. I'd give it a 5 star rating otherwise.

Great story so far, and very fun

I am pleasantly surprised at how engaged I am in the story of this game. The gameplay is fun, the interaction between the characters is fun, the pace of the game is great. I'm just suffering from lack of sleep now as a result.
I really like the shift to the Norse mythology, and the fact that the nudity and sex aren't in the game makes it a better fit for my life and who can/shouldn't be in the room when I play. That said, there is a lot of over-the-top violence and animated gore, and there is profanity periodically during the character interaction, so be forewarned.

I've been using the Blu Ray player on my PS4 up until this point. My Samsung 4K UHD TV does a great job upsampling but I'll be honest, I can't tell the difference between Blu Ray, and UHD 4k Blu Ray with this player.
That said, it works fine and was a good price.
