I bought this to replace another popular streaming device that died. I don't know why this doesn't get better reviews, this streamer totally rocks! The remote lights up as soon as you pick it up. Button layout is okay but I no longer accidently launch apps in the middle of watching a show because I accidently pressed a raised button on the remote. You can actually turn this device on and off and the TV will turn on and off with it. Set up the IR and you will control the TV volume too! The app interface is from Google Play so just search out the apps you want rather than endless scrolling. Boom, done! AI interface is cool and it's a great media server!

Fell off the wall in 5 minutes

Bought in March 2020 as a deal of the day. It's now December and I finally figured out where to hang the light strip. Got the step ladder out, put them on the wall, easy peasy. Within 5 minutes of the strip hanging on the wall, the entire thing unstuck and fell down. The adhesive is terrible. Had or order 3M adhesive to replace the original. Totally annoyed. Thick plastic covers the lights and they are bright! Two good things. Put blue tape at each end to maybe keep it on the wall overnight.

Great sound. HDMI-ARC is a no go

I think the HDMI ARC connections will only work with a newer TV. My TV is a 4 yr old Samsung JS7000 and absolutely could not get the ARC connection to work. The HDMI-CEC (Anynet+) must be turned on. My TV finds the sound bar when searching but it would not populate to the device list. (Only the Samsung Blu-ray players populated, go figure) Optical works fine as does the Bluetooth. May or may not return.
