Awesome art, matte finish is disappointing

I love the art on the steelbook. I was very excited to see it come back in stock and am happy to have the chance to own it.
Unfortunately I was a little disappointed to see it had a matte finish, which makes the artwork a little less vibrant.
Oddly there is no art inside the case behind the plastic disc clips. Usually there is.

Good for HomeKit, meh for features

I really liked how this integrates with Apple HomeKit. That was a big win for me and mostly it worked great. I liked that I was able to automate opening the door when I arrived home, though it often didn’t seem to initiate and it was annoying that I had to unlock my phone or use my watch to kick off the automation. Easier to just open it manually.
Compared to another smart opener I have, this thing is mediocre on features. The biggest missing feature is garage door open warnings. The other magnetic-based smart opener I have does this and it is very precise. Sometimes my garage gets stuck maybe only a couple of minutes inches off the ground. It will send me a notification that my door is open. Super helpful. This product can’t do that.
In the end I returned it. Just wasn’t quite what I wanted.

My kids (3 and 4) got a kick out of these, but the quality is mediocre. The black one (necrozma, I think?) was terrible. The legs just fell off with very little force. Lunala is better, but it’s head also pops off very easily. Solgaleo seems very sturdy by comparison...but also quite heavy. I’m not convinced these are actually good for ages 3+ as marked on the package. Maybe more like 4 or 5+.
Another problem was the grab-bag style shipping when ordering online. We had to place an additional order for extras and return some to get the kids what they wanted.

Easy install, high quality, but no local recording

This was very easy to install—I had a lot of fun getting it set up actually.
I was a little disappointed that there is no way to record video locally on my home network or home devices. The monitoring subscription is cheap, but I’m not interested in paying a monthly fee just to get recording. Why can’t I just record to a microSD card?
It wouldn’t matter so much, but there is enough delay between when the doorbell registers motion and sends a notification, which I then have to respond to on my phone, wait for the app to lunch, and then wait for the live feed to spin up...I’ve definitely missed whatever triggered the motion and without recording, it’s not possible to figure it out.

Overall I really like this system. It looks nice but doesn’t stand out in our house, it was easy to set up, and so far it runs great.
It would be a solid 5 star for me if not for the lack of app-based system control without paying for the monthly monitoring/subscription. It seems like a pretty basic feature of a web-connected home security system to lock behind a subscription.

I was using this with a Bose QC32 II. Unfortunately, Bose does not support aptX low latency, which is required to minimize the latency for this particular transceiver. For me, the delay between what I was seeing and hearing was far too irritating, so this went right back to the store. If you have aptX LL headphones, or you can tolerate asynchronous audio/video, you'll probably like this OK.

Yep, you just have to get your My Nintendo Rewards gold coins by highlighting the game with the card inserted and hitting the + button. Choose registration option in that menu. Nintendo will email the code to you (already got mine).
