I have had this for over a year now and have had no issues with it. It is fast, and running games is no problem for it. 2TB is a decent amount of storage. While it cannot compete with newer drives that are M.2, if you need a SATA SSD, this a great option. It is fast, reliable, and handles anything you can throw at it.

I got this to go with my iPad Air, but it works just as well with my new Mini. I love the wireless charging, as the previous Apple Pencil was awkward to charge. This just clips to the side and charges, provided you have the right iPad. I am not an artist, so I can't speak to that, but for notes this is very good. Some people will not like that there is a flat part in order to charge from your iPad, but I didn't find the form of this to be an issue. I would say it is definitely an improvement over the original Apple Pencil.

While this review is a little late, with the release of the new iPad Mini, this is still a great little device. Easy enough to hold in one hand, and powerful enough for just about any task. If you are big on streaming, then the smaller drive options may suit you better. I like storing my files on my device, so I went with more storage.
Extremely reliable, great screen, and great battery life. While the new iPad Mini and its new form factor and internals is quite an improvement, this is still a great device for anyone looking for a smaller tablet.

Decent speeds and reliable

It certainly is not the fastest external SSD you can buy, but if you don't need extreme speeds, and still want something speedy with good reliability, then this is a good option. I use it with my Pop OS Linux machine to store and transfer files and it works great. It also works well with Windows and Mac if you format it for those devices. I have had no issues with this device so far, and it comes with an adapter if you want to use it on a USB-A port. Not much to say here, it works, it isn't the fastest, but it is speedy, and 1TB is decent enough for storing copies of your files.

Great for home use and as a Plex Server

I got the 16TB version of this and really like it. I switched the RAID mode to get the full 16TB, as it comes with mirroring enabled, which is good if you want multiple copies of your data replicated across drives in the event one fails. You can also configure it as JBOD.
The interface is extremely easy to use and I was able to plug it in to my router and get it up and running in a matter of minutes. I use this to store large files, and really all kinds of files, that I want to access from all of my devices and have had no issues with it in that regard. It also has the MyCloud function, which lets you access the files stored on the device from anywhere you can get an internet connection. You do have to create an account with WD to enable this, and then you can download the application for whatever device you are using to access it.
While I use this to store all kinds of files, I also use it as a Plex server, and though I thought it would not perform well with its limited RAM and CPU, it has no issue with handling a few streams to different devices at a time. It also has 2 USB ports for plugging in additional drives.
One neat feature is that you can set it up so that when you plug a flash drive in, it copies everything from the flash drive, so you can back up your flash drives easily. It also has the ability to install several useful applications, but some require purchasing a license or subscription. I already have a Plex pass, so that was no issue. I did install GoodSync and it works flawlessly. Initially I resisted using GoodSync because I didn't want to pay for it, but I am constantly downloading and moving data around and this takes the pain out of having to manually transfer everything whenever you need to transfer files.
Time will tell how reliable it is, but for home use, I would say this is a great device. Just keep in mind that when it comes, mirroring is enabled by default, so you will only see it as one 8TB HDD.

Comfortable and very well built

I got this on sale, and man, I wish I had purchased this chair way sooner. I work from home, so I am in it for 8-10 hours a day for work and then some more for gaming on my computer, and it is extremely comfortable. The lumbar pillow has really helped my posture and most of my back pain is gone now that I use this chair. It is also extremely easy to assemble, and it is very well built. I will be using this chair for many years to come. One of the best purchases I have made!
Other than the fact that this is comfortable to sit in for an entire day, day after day, my favorite thing about this chair is how well built it is and how easy it was to put together. Took 10 minutes to assemble as it comes in basically 4 parts and the tools need to assemble it are included.
I don't know if it helps to know, but I am 6 feet tall and on the slim side.
If you work from home, or spend a lot of time in a chair, I highly recommend this chair for both its comfort and its high quality.

I got this on sale, but even at normal pricing this is a good value. Lots of storage, and so far I have had no issues with it. Transfer speeds are not bad either, usually averaging 130 MB/s with large files in Explorer, which I think is in line with USB HDD like this. I don't use any of the included software, but so far it has been great for backing up my files in Windows 11.
