This was a big upgrade from our 2006 LCD 52" tv, but even with that is has a stunning picture and is absolutely phenominal. The smart apps that you can activate via the remote are a big BONUS.

I did get the LG soundbar and subwoofer $599 SALE (LG SL8YG). It adds so much more depth to the sound of the tv. Truly creates 3D sound where you swear there is a speaker behind you.
