Great Late Summer Blockbuster

If you like put-down puns and lots of action, this the movie might be up your alley. "The Rock" and Jason Statham reprise their roles from "The Fast and Furious" series to create an entertaining film. Lots of amazing action stunts and verbal sarcasm, create a "tense" feeling throughout the movie. The plot is pretty common with a virus that could kill the world if released. Irdis Elba plays a great bad guy who is more robotic than human. It will take the two of them, "The Rock" and Statham working together to neutralize the virial threat and save the world. 4 stars make it a weak plot but one to watch if you really like the stars' characters.

A Geat Spiderman Movie

Peter Parker and his school mates go to Europe while bad creatures attack. Peter has to keep his identity safe and Ned helps get his fellow students away from danger. The Elementals are the bad guys that "Mysterio" destroys. Spiderman was given special glasses from Tony Stark and that is what the good guy gone bad "Mysterio" wants. Eventually "Mysterio" gets the glasses and creates havoc and destruction with drones that creates illusions, the Elementals (as previously mentioned). You really need to see the rest of the movie to find out how Spiderman does defeating "Mysterio." There are 2 short clips during the credits and they need to be seen. Enjoy!

A Great Underwater Adventure

Aquaman was an entertaining movie through the sea and land. A imposter who wants to be king tries to unite underwater tribes to fight with him in destroying the people on land. You get the whole story of how Aquaman became the rightful king of the sea. The interesting part of this film is three fold. Story was good, action was better but the acting is very stiff. There wasn't a lot of chemistry between Aquaman and his friends. That would be my only criticism of this film. But this is worth watching like I said before very entertaining.

The Fast and Furious spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw is fun mindless entertain that is meant to be over the top. Lots and lots of action and stunts that are fun to watch and enjoy. The plot is okay, probably no different than previous F & F movies. Hobbs (The Rock) and Shaw (Jason Statham) have to work together to save the planet from a deadly airborne virus. The two Alpha males have to work together to fight the superhuman (Irdis Elba) protagonist who wants to get the virus. The movie is fun with Hobbs and Shaw not liking each other and putting each other down every chance they get. But they will eventually have to work together to defeat their common enemy and get the virus before it is released. Hobbs and Shaw is an enjoyable trek through the action and several story lines that make a fun film.

Mission Impossible in 4K HDR is why movies are made in 4K! Amazing picture, accurate sound and Dolby Vision make this Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation the best version of itself. Oh yeah, it is also a great film! Some great motorcycle and car chases really get your heart pounding. The plot is to destroy the "Syndicate" that is made up of former agents who want to cause global terror. Problem is that most people in authority don't believe there is a "Syndicate." Enter our heroes, the IMF, to reveal the truth.

Great 4K with HDR Worth Watching

Now I have seen this movie probably 10 times on both DVD and Blu ray. I decided to get the 4K version with HDR to enhance my experience. The 4K HDR is superb! The picture was much better and sounded better with Dolby Vision. A jump in from Blu ray to 4K HDR, in this case was well worth it. I was impressed! Here is a bit about the actual film:
The nuclear codes are in the wrong hands and a disavowed IMF is the only ones who can get them back. Tons of action and great plot make this film a great flick to watch over and over again. Enjoy the 4K HDR!

This film is a modern classic in my opinion. The railroad wants to come through a village of Samurai. But the Samurai don't make it easy fighting tooth and nail all along the movie. Tom Cruise's character is injured and has learned from the West. Now he learns from the East as he killed the husband of a blind woman. The blind woman cares for his injuries even though he would be considered an enemy. This all leads up to the final battle. I won't disclose the ending but it makes up what is so great about this film.

The Insignia Wireless Optical Mouse is a significant upgrade from the touchpad. There is nothing wrong with the touchpad, but the wireless mouse simply has more to offer. The fight scenes were well done and there are a lot of them. The plot basically revolves around John Wick and his ability to stay alive through incredible odds. Passengers stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in a space love story. I thought their would be more sci-fi in this film but there is just enough to peak my interest. (Spoiler) Chris Pratt's hibernation pod wakes up 90 years early and he is so lonely he wakes up Jennifer Lawrence hibernation pod to have some company. At first they things are going well until the bartender reveals to Jennifer Lawrence character that Chris Pratt's character woke her up early. On top of this there is a problem with the ship that nearly destroys every one. This movie is an entertaining film for a Saturday afternoon flick.
