Exceptional device. Works against a a range of systems. For best result, provide a discrete GPU and USB3. Excellent results when paired with a camera like Canon 7D MKII and a cheap prime lens. If the host system is a laptop, expect higher than normal fan output during streams. The last key component for those Zoom/Google meet sessions now so common in daily life. To get the most out of it: send the input through OBS software, use that software output as your camera source. You can refine/customize the results even more.

The UHD video presentation here may be matched only by "2001."
Colors are vivid, the contrast is outstanding. The low light detail is excellent. War looks truly scary in this film, even more than the older blu-rays. The smoke and varied flares, rendered with precision and dread grace.
The sound mix is even, detailed, with depth that works your speakers well. Explosions, music, foley work all are distinct, defined, and dead-on. One hopes that the "Star Wars" films, "Jaws", and "Indiana Jones" series get similar treatment. A first class release. Much like the "Apollo 11" blu-ray, this is, perhaps required viewing, to demonstrate the platform.
The film is thrilling, challenging, and engaging. View the new "Final Cut" with confidence. The pacing is just right. I won't be revisiting the other versions.

The film is problematic and enigmatic. A special beginning and middle, only to let down and confuse at the end. A slower burn than Blade Runner, pacing isn't optimal. But fans of the film will be treated to perhaps one of the finest restorations seen on UHD. The detail is stunning, and the colors vivid. The sound is defined, crisp, and evenly mixed. After seeing this, one wonders why such restoration effort isn't common among older films.

The video and audio quality on "The Hunt for Red October" are excellent. This classic got the best treatment, and goes a long way to justify the set. There is a slight red push, and contrast could be decreased somewhat. But this is clearly the centerpiece. The Chris Pine vehicle looks quite good, but is a much less compelling feature. It starts well, but loses momentum. "The Sum of All Fears" is an underrated film, but the transfer is mediocre. The other great Harrison Ford films have underwhelming video. not far beyond the blu-rays. Other releases since have demanded viewing attention. This purchase was a letdown. If you see favorites from among the includes titles, you will be getting the best versions. But UHD releases should be more than this. There isn't much pop, on the Ford films. The video, grainy and faded. Given what NASA can do with a blu-ray release, we should demand more from the Jack Ryan set.

I prefer large, external headphones. But these are quite good. Plenty of bass, mid, and just enough treble. Good definition and separation. Most important, they offer some protection against a wide range of potentially disruptive noise and buzz. They are of great value on a subway train. They are of great value on Apple cellular products. Especially if one listens to music on Amazon's app, which doesn't benefit from any in-OS equalization. A bit pricey; if you see them on sale, go for it.

"Goldfinger", "Dr No", and "From Russia with Love" got the better visual treatment. This was an OK restoration with some good moments. Those were solid restorations with excellent moments.
The movie itself does not age well. But the soundtrack is above average and the title tune is stunning.
I would wait for the UHDs on the Bond series: either with online streaming or with future store product. If you were a fan of the film and don't want to wait, go for it (or whatever blu-ray SKU replaced this one.)

For electronic remote controls, these were the ones to use. Sad to see these aren't sold, but I'm sure they've been replaced with a similar SKU. They were long-lasting and always a better choice than standard alkaline. Recommended while they were sold.

I needed these for a Canon camera remote. I was en-route to a fireworks display, and found these. I would have preferred Best Buy stock a smaller amount, But now I'll have some batteries on hand for older computer motherboards. These are a must for certain electronics, although a tad pricey.

This was a good release. From a film standpoint, we get a special beginning and rise, varied set-pieces and settings. The film falls a little short in the final quarter, however. Colors and contrast are good. Audio is clear. But as always, if you see the UHD for $14.99 or less, grab that. (Strictly speaking, UHD is the way to go if you have the player.) I got the blu-ray having skipped the theater release. But it turns out this is "Wonder Woman" quality, and one of the better DC entries. Plenty of action and energy. The lead is a tad vulgar at times, and that may take some getting used to.

This is a required purchase for any who love documentaries, and who love space exploration. The video quality is, well, astonishing. Right there with "Lawrence of Arabia" and "The Ten Commandments." The only flaw is a slight red push. The audio is clear, well-defined, strong with unexpected power during key moments. The colors are vibrant. Shot in 1969, but it looks like a window into yesterday. There were many films with mediocre video quality on the blu-ray release. This towers over them. If released on UHD, it could re-define that platform. Recommended with esteem and confidence. 98/100
