Switches do not require settings. So they are inherently easy to install. Some switches, however, do not have built-in attachment holes for wall-mounting. This unit had the attachment holes. I avoid buying any devices unless they have a means of mounting. Neither screws nor a hole-spacing template were provided. I would have rated the unit higher if a template were included. Making the template and locating appropriate screws made the installation take longer than I would have liked. This unit works fine, I have Gigabit transmission, and I recommend it.

Loose Grip Works Best

I have a Surface Go. It's thin. The AC adapter is thin. This mouse is thin. So, it's not as round as more conventional mice. I found that same grip I would use with conventional mice isn't ideal for this thin mouse. I like loosely holding the mouse and moving it with a combination of wrist and finger action. Some people might not like the thinness of this (wireless) mouse. I like it, and I got the same color as my keyboard.

Until now, every true Windows 10 tablet I've owned has been lacking in something - speed, battery life, screen resolution, price, etc. Microsoft has done a great job in picking and assembling the best collection of specs in an affordable, portable package. This Surface Go meets my needs, and I'm ready to compromise. I wanted portability with long battery life, and a true Windows 10 O/S (I've owned a Surface RT) base. No games, no video editing needed. Most of my document storage needs are handled by OneDrive. So, the 64GB is enough. I've owned more powerful portables, but this compact unit goes where I go, and does what I need.

Not much to say when the product is designed well. I thought the keys might be too close. But, when I started typing, I found it was easy to type on. Also, the keyboard is "out of play" when it's folded to the back of the Surface Go. That automatically puts the Surface Go in Table mode, and the Go ignores the physical keyboard. Bring the keyboard back around, and the Go goes into desktop mode.

Get your day started right with this Dell laptop. I purchased this laptop to replace an older, more conventional one. I like this laptop for all its features, thinness, lightness and 2-in-1 design. However, I must to stay close to AC power because its 38WHr battery doesn't quite make it for me to anywhere near the 8 hours Dell claims. Claimed battery life was one of the features that 'closed the deal' for me. But, from the start, about a year ago, I routinely got (and get) about 2 hours battery time with 4 hours tops (by lowering display brightness, turning on airplane mode, etc.). I find myself reaching for it less and less. If the engineers had designed this with a heftier battery (like 50-60WHr) I would have been happier and rated it higher.

Can this computer contect to a smart tv either by casting or a converter?
For casting, your TV needs to be on the same wireless home network your computer is on. And, not all programs or apps permit casting. When they do permit casting, this PC should be able to cast. Attached are two photos from a YouTube example. Select your YouTube video. Photo #1 shows the options, including the casting icon (second from right) that displays on the lower right corner of the YouTube video display. Once you click on the casting icon, another pop-up will appear showing the list of enable items (Photo #2). Select the one you want, and you're done. I think a better solution not needing a network might be to use a USB-C adapter from the computer to an HDMI cable plugged into the TV HDMI input. Set the computer to "mirror" the screen.
