This is one of title to seek out and purchase! James Cameron & Co have crafted an action-filled world filled with stunning sights and amazing sounds!
This release has it all!
The 4K/UHD media is nothing short of HDR visual splendor and Dolby Atmos Audio perfection
The 3D media brings with it, picture quality bordering upon that of UHD, but with the added, encompassing heightened reality that only 3D can bring! The only downside on on the 3D media is that it does not appear to include Dolby Atmos Audio, which would have made this PERFECTION!
...then there is the standard 1080p 2D Blu-ray, which, if you have read my quick review of the 3D media, is just like it, ...only boring and flat, making me feel sorry for those who do not appreciate quality 3D presentations or those who missed out on the opportunity to land a television which supports both UHD as well as 3D formats.
4K/UHD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and a UHD Digital Copy all for just under $30?
What are you waiting for!? BUY THIS TITLE!

I am not saying that Upgrade is a horrible movie, so much as it just isn't all that great. It could have been far better had it been a bit more like "LockOut" and not taken itself too seriously, but instead it tried to play itself up as a serious sci-fi action flick, on a shoestring budget.
Audio and video are both 'serviceable', but the acting, and the story fails to raise above that of the average SyFy made for television movie ...but without the tongue-in-cheek 'fun factor' that one would see in the likes of Sharknado.
If you can overlook the many flaws, buy this movie, but shop around so you do not pay full price.

This is where 4K/UHD images of nature can really shine! Definition is clear and sharp with excellent black levels providing ample texture and detail.
The Dolby Atmos audio mix is active across all channels, providing a realistic depiction of the sounds one would hear in nature, while narration is anchored solidly to the front, center channel.

Loved the heart of this story, and the fact that it was something that the entire family can enjoy.
It isn't exactly an action film, so don't expect dynamic audio or majorly engaged audio channels. What it does have is a good deal of audio 'realism', which encompasses the viewer with sounds of the environment, which helps to draw the viewer into the movie.
Story wise, I have seen it before in the 70/80s with various Disney and made-for-television movies. It has been done before, but never this well, and the time for such a movie is long overdue.

This is not to say that it is not a 'good' movie, only that it probably could have been even better.
MNS does a nice job integrating material from he previous installments (Unbreakable, Split), bringing the characters together nicely into a serviceable final chapter in his trilogy.
Technically speaking images are clear, with slight film grain notable providing the images in this film, bringing the image quality into line with that of the previous installments.
Audio is mixed and dialog from the front center channel being clear and well positioned. I would have liked a bit more from the remaining channels to provide added effects to further draw the viewer into the film, but what usage of the channels was reasonably active and well placed.
I would not recommend this movie for technical, so much as I recommend purchasing it as a very nice resolution to a trilogy.

Memory is limited to 16gb and the device has no slot for microSD memory expansion. I suspect this limitation due to its water resistance rating.
This is disappointing because I had hoped to be able to load it with my 16 year old daughter's entire library of music without needing to reduce to a low bitrate to make everything for.
In hind sight I should have purchased the less expensive model, which has less battery life, but offers the microSD card slot for expanded storage.

I picked up the Asus AX11000 to replace my old Asus ACRT87U, which has an old RT68 set up as an extender.
Now with Asus and their AIMesh, I have my RT68 connected as a true 'mesh' extension. No more dripping of signal on my home when traversing between Wi-Fi nodes.

4K is a sizable home, with many walls, and presumably floors for signals to go through.
Something to also keep in mind is that higher/faster frequencies do not travel as far as lower, slower frequencies so while it may cover that volume of space, it will likely not do it with consistent speeds.
I have a 3,800 sq ft home with the primary Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro located in the basement mechanical room where cable distribution is located.
It reaches to the upper floor of our home, however the signal is weak with two floors between.
It was for this reason that I purchased a secondary Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro, which is connected as an AI mesh node, to provide a solid signal to every corner of my home, on every level.
This router may not be the best for you. You may wish to look at Wi-Fi 7 capable mesh Wi-Fi which will certainly cover your space more efficiently.
