It's a modem

I bought this to replace a 5 year old motorola modem, it does the the job just fine. It isn't what I would have picked but it was what was available in store at the time. It works with Xfinity cable internet. I don't like that it won't sit flat on my desk. It is constantly tipped back. The plastic is light weight and cheap, so the weight of the cables tips it backwards.

I was hesitant based on the price, but it is worth every penny! I'm on my computer all day for work and this keyboard is so nice. Keys have some contour to them, but I really love the low profile design and shallow keys. It feels like a laptop not a big clunky desktop keyboard.

So let me start by saying I am a MacBook Air user, but I needed a laptop to run Quickbooks on that was windows compatible. I love this and find I use it more than my old HP slimline desktop. Its light weight and has a sleek design. Almost reminds me of the MacBook Pro. I especially love the easy on/off button for the track pad when using a bluetooth mouse. Also, notable is the metal casing most of the laptops are plastic now. For me the metal was worth the extra money.

Please help. I'm switching from a different external keyboard. When I use the MX keys on either Unifying Reciever or Bluetooth, when going into Windows Remote Desktop, the Start and Alt keys are swapped. Meaning they do not do what they say on the keys.

Has anyone had issues with the numeric keypad turning off? Mine turns off every night and is not fixed with the number lock button. Wondering if this is common or if I have a defective item.
