While the TV in of itself is great, the remote sucks. It is very small, smaller than a Fire Stick remote. And some of the controls make no sense from ergonomic standpoint. And to top it off, it is recharged through a small solar panel on the back side. That means if you don't turn it face down when you're not using it, the battery will run down. And then there's always the question of is the battery replaceable? Oh, did I forget to mention that they do not use Fire Stick or Roku type software which means you have to learn a whole new operating system.

Does this remote cover also protect the original Toshiba 4k FireTv remote, 43" ?
While it probably would fit, it depends on the placement of the buttons on your Firestick remote because they have changed. Probably the best thing to do would be to take your remote to the Best Buy store and just check it there. Or maybe you can compare your remote with the picture of the cover and the windows for the buttons.
