great Single player story driven game

I have played through Quantum Break twice and I really enjoyed the story line. The time travelling, time altered story is very fun and cinematic. The TV hybrid format was enjoyable, but different. It was weird to sit back and watch for 20 minutes after playing for an hour. The gameplay felt a bit like Mass Effect, with the cover-based shooting and powers to use that need to cooldown before using again. Being able to make decisions that alter the story line and characters is also similar to Mass Effect. Once you make a decision you have to live with it and let it play out. The graphics are very good, 720p or not. The developers created a unique style to their design and graphics, and it shows throughout the game and succeeds on that front. This was a good game that I was looking forward to, so I did not mind pre-ordering for $48 (Prime member). But if you are on the fence about this game, you may want to wait until it's in the $30-40 range. Very enjoyable, but maybe not worth full retail price. Also, there's no multiplayer, so don't buy this if you are interested in multiplayer or co-op.

Solid Mario Gameplay

ith most of the Mario titles in the past decade, I've always been disappointed to smash my way through them in under a week without having faced any real difficulty at any point in the game. Mario 3D Land turns this on its head at the last minute. Upon defeating Bowser at the end of your standard round of 8 worlds, the game unlocks a new character and a new set of 8 more worlds that are all exceptionally challenging. The second set of worlds gets *NINTENDO HARD* at some points, and even the most experienced player will find themselves burning through dozens of lives on the same stage. The main difference is that there's no real punishment for failure because extra lives are near-unlimited and ridiculously easy to come by. Despite that, at the end of the day the sudden uptick in difficulty is just one of the many ways that Mario 3D Land honors and makes references to its roots. It borrows powerups, stages, tropes, enemies, and music from all throughout the series and ultimately makes this into one that was meant to appeal to the most longtime of fans.

Such a great little game! Try to beat challenges that typically take less than 90 seconds each and earn up to 3 stars for beating them in record times. This really is a must have if you enjoyed playing NES games at any time in history but definitely worth it if you feel nostalgic about NES games but don't neccasarily want to torture yourself playing through them entirely. The remix levels are the real draw as you can do strange mash ups like collecting coins in Super Mario Bros with Link. The presentation is very nice and the UI is easy and friendly to use. Also this game includes Championship Mode and Speed Mario Bros (a super fast complete version of Super Mario Bros 1).

I love this game. I wish real life making money and paying my mortgage was this relaxing and fun. I bought it for my kids but they don’t get to use it anymore so they don’t mess up my precious precious town. I’m trying to get all the town folk to move out every chance I get so I have room for more fruit tree, kids kept telling them to stay. Get this and be relaxed with way cuter versions of adulting but don’t share with the kids.

Fast inputs, long chord, good quality, feels and looks great. My original concern with this controller was that the pre-order date said it would arrive on Christmas, over two weeks after the release of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Fortunately, it arrived yesterday, giving me time to get used to the feel of the controller before December 7th.
When comparing it side by side to the official controller that came with my Gamecube, the only difference that I can feel is the plastic it's made with. Some of the reviews for this controller have said that the plastic feels cheaper but I personally prefer the new material. The plastic on this controller feels a lot less likely to gather grease or marks after long play sessions.

Many of the 1-2 star reviews have very different issues with their controllers. Some are complaining about slow inputs, low quality triggers, and some people are having trouble with getting it to work on emulators. I've had none of these problems. Maybe I just got lucky with the one I was shipped but overall, I'm very satisfied with it.
