PS2 Remaster done Right

I waited a very long time in hopes this game got the HD re-master it deserves. I was only able to play volume 2 of the G.U. series and I loved it so much. I could never buy the others for ps2 because they're really expensive and a rare find nowadays. The series is that good, so I definitely can say why it was so expensive and hard to find. The day I found out the trilogy got a re-master for ps4, I was really happy and a bit teared up it. Such a great series in my opinion should have not disappeared from the world of gaming and anime. There are a lot of other anime concepts that came from the concepts of the Dot.Hack series in general. So without mention of a worthy predecessor, who would even know it existed without the original fans that loved it so much. As a dedicated fan, it's like reliving the moment one more time. Especially if you never got to experience the full story. To even top that, special gameplay for after the events of G.U. is a worthwhile bonus. There are a lot of beautiful songs in the series too, so its great to hear those again too. To all the fans out there who really missed this series; it's saying "welcome back home." Who knows, maybe we'll hopefully get a re-master of the very original Dot.Hack games with Kite. Only time will tell, and even if it does not, I'm proud to at least gotten the Dot.Hack G.U. Trillogy re-mastered.
Thank you Bandai for bringing this game a well deserved re-master; and Cyber-Connect2 for the original development!!

got the lanch edition and I love the metal case it's very nice and looks good on my shelf. I must say much like the demo it plays very well. The combat is very fluid and so far the story is interesting. I'd say if your thinking about this game play the demo first if you love that then definitely buy the game you won't regret it.

Find the dragon within when you play Shining Resonance Refrain. This game version is available with preorder purchases, and it comes with a metal slip case. Choose Refrain Mode to enable characters not previously playable, or play as a dragon to use powerful attacks during battles. Shining Resonance Refrain follows the story of Yuma as he seeks to save Astoria Kingdom and restore peace to the land.

First of all the product itself. The launch edition has a really cool metal slipcase probably the only one of it's kind. We have had metal steelbooks sure but not a metal slipcase. Really cool. There is also a free japanese voice pack in the E-Shop you can download.
Story - Pretty generic honestly, like PS2 Era JRPG storytelling. Have an evil kingdom who is doing evil stuff against the good kingdom... Insert main character here.... He goes on an adventure to save the kingdom from evil kingdom and bam there is your story. The lore is pretty intresting but the story itself just holds it back. It never gets into that level of final fantasy or tales games story telling.
Gameplay - Plays out like a tales game, you can turn into a dragon! Which is awsome. There is like a FF7 materia system going on there for your wepons. No fast travel unfourtuntly, but not that bad as the maps themselfs are easy to run across. There is a random dungeon you can do for grinding. There are side quests but all those are is the basic "Kill this" or "Collect this" and thats it, nothing more meaningful than that. I guess the best part of the game is that you can date all the girls and you won't get punished for it. For those who are confused by original mode and refrain mode... Basically original mode is just the original story while in refrian mode you get 2 playable characters that are like villian characters.... Thats about it. So I just went with refrian mode to date the evil chick.
Sound - Pretty good since one of the focuses of the game is about music, since all your party members items are actually instruments. So at least for sound is 5 out of 5
Graphics - It's like in between PS2-PS3 era anime style graphics. Not that bad seeing as it was a PS3 port from japan only.
Conclusion - It's worth getting if only go play once, it's only like 49.99 anyways not even full priced. For a PS3 port it's pretty decent, at least until we get octopath traveler soon and that tales remaster for the switch.

Enroll in a virtual high school when you play Persona 5 for PlayStation 4. Heroes awaken power by freeing themselves of societal masks in this game, which includes plenty of action-packed role-playing and sophisticated cut-scenes. Persona 5 brings an all-new experience to fans of the series while providing a playable environment for newcomers.

If I buy this game, will it be in English or Japanese ??

The game is Dual Audio meaning there's both English and Japanese voices. Although Japanese language option is available via PSN as a free DLC.
