The 805 D4 standmount loudspeaker is the most compact model in the 800 Series Diamond range, but it~s still packed with advanced technologies, including that all-important Diamond dome tweeter and Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top. It~s proof positive that small can still be beautiful.

I own the 805 D3 and have auditioned the
805 D4. It's not a night and day
difference. l'd say it's a 10-13 percent
improvement in aspects of the sonic
character. If you're coming from the D2
generation or before I'd say there is a 40
60 percent improvement. That would be
worth it. Consider the $8500 price and
$1250 stands. Almost mandatory because
you'll want to bolt these down for such an
investment. My opinion if you're coming
from a D3 it's not enough to justify the
price of the improvement. Id also consider the durability of thw leather as well.

I wouldn’t say they are worlds better than the 805 d3 possibly 10 to 13% better. They are very similar in many ways but also different physically Reaser bigger than the past generation my only problem with the speakers is I feel they don’t justify the $8000 asking price and that’s not even counting the investment of the speakers stands from bowers and Wilkins. I feel that the 805 D3 is a great alternative if you’re looking to be in the 800 series but at a lower price. If you’re going into the 800 series and you want their best bookshelf and current generation this would be it otherwise the 805 d3 is a good viable option

A very good successor to the 805 D3

I own the 805 D3 The D4 is maybe 10 to 15% better in certain parts of the song when it is being played. It is a very revealing speaker very good for vocals and instrument detail your improvements that you can research internal matrix was improved a Twitter has been improved it’s a little bigger as well. Don’t get me wrong it is a very good speaker I have additioned it and I am impressed but for the $8000 for asking price not even counting the speaker stand I find it problematic at best at that price point I would say they’re not worth it. I’m not gonna devalue the rating of the speaker because it is a very good speaker but as an alternative if you can find yourself a bowers and Wilkins 805 D3 it is a lot less money in comparison even with the speaker stands. It’s an alternative to consider if you like the sound signature many videos they compare them. I just don’t see it being worth that much more at least 3000 or more dollars for the improvements too expensive in my opinion but if you’re going into bowers and Wilkins and you want their very best bookshelf this is it

Enjoy this 805 D3 loudspeaker, that features studio-grade technology in the form of a diamond dome tweeter. It~s capable of delivering pristine sound from a relatively slight dimensions, allowing even those people with smaller listening rooms to experience true sound.

I truly amazing set of speakers

These speakers are really amazing and I personally own them. I have sampled the newer 805 D4. The 805 D3 hold their own quite well. I would say maybe there is a 10 to 13% improvement over the D3 but not worth the $8000 asking price not even counting the speaker stands. D3 are worth their asking price especially now that you have a successor to the D3 costing so much more. I highly recommend this speaker if you truly want an amazing revealing sound for your music very much I consider these among the very best
