I can't tell you how this thing worked because mine never would turn on. I bought it through Best Buy's Deal of the Day at a discounted price. When it arrived, I washed it as instructed, loaded it up with chopped onions to process, and mounted the cup onto the device... plugged it in, hit the button and boom... nothing. I moved it to another plug just to make sure. Nothing. I was looking forward to using this chopper but didn't want to risk it again trading it for another, so I just washed it and returned it. Luck of the draw, perhaps. But I won't purchase this again.

I have a Westinghouse Roku TV and the audio was horrible coming from the TV, especially since it's mounted on the wall and we sit at least 12' away on the couch. I wanted to get a soundbar that had enough beef to give sound to the whole room. The Roku Smart Soundbar did just that. I can now hear and make out what the voices are saying on the TV. The sound is no longer muffled. The quality is more clear, without just "having the TV louder." The soundbar also doubles as a Roku device, so if you don't already have a Roku installed on your TV, this is double great! But rest assured, it will still work even if you already have a Roku installed.

Great picture, lacking in sound quality

This TV is gorgeous. We have ours hung on the living room wall, and our couch is set back about 15' from the TV. While the picture is great, the sound leaves a little to desire. If you're using it with a soundbar, then you're set. If not, you might want to get one or move your couch closer. Sometimes the sound just disappears - you can flip through the channels and all of them are silent, no sound. This requires a full reboot of the entire Roku TV, as turning it off and back on again usually doesn't help. But thankfully, resetting the remote which resets the TV works.

It takes the fuss out of screwing in a corkscrew and especially makes it easier to dislodge the cork. This little guy cleaned pretty dang well, but... it would never connect to my wifi. I have the required connection speeds and devices and as many times as I tried, which included using the videos from the manufacture, other user's videos, and contacting support - I could not get it to work. So... I returned it. It kind of defeats the purpose if it won't connect to wifi, because it doesn't learn your home, and you can't automate when it comes on or where it goes.

I have had this mounted in my car for a few weeks now and everything seems seamless. Once you have it mounted and plugged into power in your car, it comes on automatically when you start your ignition, and powers off when your car is turned off. Alternatively, it can run on a charge if you stick it on the USB charger in your home and just take it out with you each time. However, I wouldn't recommend that because it might run out of charge when you most need it. Constant power is best. It's compact, lightweight, comes off the windshield easily if needed.

I don't think I received a manual with this-is there one? Also, are the stoppers just to be used as corks? There's no feature that removes air from the bottle with this, is there?
The stoppers are just to use as replacement corks - they just fit snug down onto the top of your wine bottle. Unfortunately, I don't think this device removes air. But if you open a bottle one night and can't finish it all, we've found that replacing the cork with one of the stoppers is very sufficient in preserving the taste of the wine for the next night.

Fritz, no you don't need a smartphone to make the Google Home Mini work. You just need an internet connection and a computer to setup your account with Google, if you don't have one already. If you had a smartphone, you could do some optional things with the Google Home Assistant app, but it's definitely not necessary.
