This won't work on it's own, it's part of a set, an expansion of the full set. My bad, I should've read the description better, I guess. I was just looking to buy a normal operating handset and base. But with this you need the full base, this would just work as an extra handset.

I feel like the only difference in the Google Mini and the regular Google Home is, obviously, their size. But the commands, capabilities, and operations are still the same. I have a regular sized Google Home in the living room and this Google Mini in the bedroom. It works great! I can ask it for the time, for a rundown of my calendar when I wake up, I can ask it what the forecast is going to be so that I'll know how to dress that morning. You can even ask it to tell you a joke if you need a little laugh. If you also have things like Chrome Cast, you can operate them through the Google Home Mini as well, once you've synced them up in the Google Home Assistant app.

If you're looking for a great way to get started using lights that you can control with your devices and/or home assistant devices, this is the best way to go. It comes with 4 bulbs and the hub to get you all started. Once you get the lights plugged in and synced to the hub, you can also add it to your home automation system, like Google Home, and control the operation of your lights with your voice. These aren't the colored lights, just one white color. But they're still GREAT because you can dim them to set the mood for a romantic dinner ("Hey Google, turn the lights down to 25%.") or wake them up if you drop your fork and can't see where the dang thing fell under the table ("Hey Google, turn the lights up to 100%."). Granted, you've got to have the Google Home or Google Home Mini to make that work.

Hey, buying an Apple Watch was an accomplishment for me. Now I have no excuse to be late for work, right? Well, the default bands that were included with the Apple Watch I purchased weren't all that exciting and didn't really fit comfortably, either. That's why I went searching for something like this band.
It is comfortable, looks GREAT, and is totally adjustable so that you can fit just the perfect size for your wrist. Mine are super skinny, so this was a great way to keep that big ol' Apple Watch face on right side up. It's lightweight, too... not super clunky or heavy. And, not that my arm is super hairy, but hey everyone is born with hair on their arms (I think?) so don't worry, this band doesn't pinch your hair like some of the old school watch bands would.

I got this clock for my elderly mom who has a little trouble with her vision, and who also has to have a nightlight in her room. This clock kind of served 2 purposes - it was bright enough that it helped illuminate her bedroom enough so it wasn't pitch dark in there, and also (obviously) displayed the time in large enough digits so she could see it from her bed. It's neat too, because the color of the digits is green, unlike the regular clocks that are usually red, or sometimes blue.

It's Clear, What You'll See

I have 2 senior chihuahuas that have to stay at home during the day while I'm at work. The oldest one has seizures sometimes, and it pains me that I can't be there to keep an eye on her all day. But, gotta work to pay the bills, right? So, I thought, "why not invest in a security camera system so I can keep an eye(s) on her remotely!?"
After reviewing several different brands and models, I decided to go with Arlo. I'm glad that I did - Arlo has proven to be a great investment. I purchased the 4pk with Netgear base that uses 4 batteries per camera. The image capture is great. The video capture is great. They are on as soon as I set the app to "ARMED" and start recording as soon as motion is detected. Notifications are sent to my phone. Then I can open the app, or log into my account online, and see what those rascally old pups are up to. The only thing that I would rate less than excellent would be the length of battery life. But, that can be remedied by investing in a rechargeable battery pack and batteries pretty cheaply off Amazon.

This thing dries fast and won't leave you disappointed. I don't like to over-dry my clothes because I'm so tall, I have a hard time finding things that I like to wear that actually fit. So, I am typically going to set it to timed dry, and I'll take my jeans and sweaters and nice tops out after about 20 minutes of drying on this setting, to where they're barely damp, and hang them to air dry in my closet. This dryer works fast, it's hot without overdoing it, and super efficient. It's like a computer. I love the notifications and sounds, too!

I don't think I received a manual with this-is there one? Also, are the stoppers just to be used as corks? There's no feature that removes air from the bottle with this, is there?
The stoppers are just to use as replacement corks - they just fit snug down onto the top of your wine bottle. Unfortunately, I don't think this device removes air. But if you open a bottle one night and can't finish it all, we've found that replacing the cork with one of the stoppers is very sufficient in preserving the taste of the wine for the next night.

Do I need a smart phone for the google home mini to work? I have a desktop computer and Frontier internet.
Fritz, no you don't need a smartphone to make the Google Home Mini work. You just need an internet connection and a computer to setup your account with Google, if you don't have one already. If you had a smartphone, you could do some optional things with the Google Home Assistant app, but it's definitely not necessary.
