Feels comfortable, smooth feel to control. Wireless isnt great. Bought this with the match kyeboard thinking I could use 1 dongle as advertised. No such luck need to use both the dongles. Whats worse, even with checking and updating firmware the wireless was suboptimal for even work. Not just gaming but email and spreadsheets, this thing skipped all over the place. Once I switched to the wired(included). It worked great.

Family loves it. I would highly recommend buying the full version and not the Lites. Have the ability to switch from TV to handheld is great for kids when we want to kick them off TV. At the same time its great to play split screen Mario Kart on TV and not cram around that tiny screen. Worth the $100 price difference.

So 1st was bought from Gstop. RB was broken from the start. Was a huge hassle to deal with GStop customer service. They refunded my money, eventually, so I ordered a new one from BestBuy. This one also had an issue but it is minor and only occasional. The DPad makes an unusual clicking sound from time to time. I think the other one I have, from the system bundle, seems to be fine. Just unfortunate coincidence on the two separate controllers. They look really cool though.

Love the unique boot up sound. Sounds like an old hard drive on start up. The overall esthetic was great. Though it supposedly had a glow in the dark paint on it. But we have yet to see it in dark. Also Controller Dpad was clicking when used occasionally. Had purchased separate Cyberpunk Controller and that one had a bad RB button.

Is the USB dongle required for Xbox usage (do the headphones sync directly to my Xbox like the old model)? And will I only need to plug in the USB for Playstation, PC, and Switch usage?
Sadly it is required for all, including Xbox. I was hoping I could direct connect to Xbox but it needs the transmitter as well. Which kind of sucks as I have the regular 700 Gen2 as well and the range is better with the direct connect over the transmitter. But man, one headset vs needing 3 is a nice trade if the range isnt an issue for you.

What is the difference between the stealth 600 max and 700 max? They seem almost identical but have a much higher price point.
700 allows you to connect to you phone via Bluetooth as well. I love this feature as I can be connected to the xbox in a game and in party chat and if my phone rings, I can take the call. It lowers the in game volume, mutes the mic to the game chat, as it switches over to the phone conversation. As soon as I end the call, the game volume resumes to level and moves mic back to my party chat seamlessly. Well worth the extra money if you see yourself in that scenario.

In the specs for the 700 Gen 2 Max (Black) it says that the wireless connectivity is only RF. Whereas in the Cobalt edition it's specified to have RF & Bluetooth connectivity, is this true?
If it specifically calls it the “Gen2 Max”, these versions use a USB transmitter that works on PC, Xbox, PS4/5 and Switch. Separately(and simultaneously if you chose), you can connect both the Stealth 700 Gen2 Max and the Stealth 700 Gen2 to your phone via the Bluetooth. The Stealth 700 Gen2 (not the Max version) connects to the Xbox via Xbox’s proprietary connection.

Difference between Stealth 700 Gen 2 and this Stealth 700 Gen 2? From the images, I can tell this one uses it's own dongle meaning it doesn't have to rely on a separate xbox adaptor when connecting to PC but is there anything else thats better/different?
Identical headset design. The only difference is that this Gen2 Max requires the usb transmitter for all platforms. It is both a positive and negative. Positive is that you can use this headset on pretty much every platform. The negative is that I own the Gen 2 and this Gen 2 Max and the range on this for the xbox is not as good. The proprietary xbox connection seems to have a better range than this new one’s transmitter. So if you only need it for xbox, save the money and buy the Stealth 709 Gen2, NOT the Stealth 700 Gen2 MAX.
