So if you are used to Sony TV color science and upconversion, this is another set that absolutely hits the mark for the cost. Especially if you purchased while the Holiday price breaks were in place. Not much to decode there... In terms of next-gen gaming compatibility there are some good things to note.
- 120Hz/4K is available, but you can tell it's a first-gen implementation. It works but its not polished.
- Turning on the enhanced fps functionality is somewhat cumbersome, not fully automatic - yet. You have to enable it and toggle the consoles on/off this mode if you are playing one of the few games that can achieve 4K/120
- There are only 5 titles at the time of writing this review that can support 4k/120 so there may not be anything you care about to take advantage of the increased performance.
- Outside of 4K/120 gaming, this TV offers great HDR and black levels with minimal blooming considering the limited amount of zones.
- If you do not want to go OLED, I don't think there is a better overall performance/value option. The TCL / Hisense stuff is ok, but they are not in the same league as Sony.

If you've heard good things, its true. This device is not remarkable but it is a great thing to have!! We have multiple and have not had any major issues. Reset every once in awhile to reset the connectivity and audio issues with a very old receiver but that's it.

I’ve already added a 2nd 1TB NVMe Drive. Wanted more space and something way faster than the oem 512GB for creating content. There are two slots available.

can the keyboard be lit with a normal white light? or does it stay RGb?
Yes, just change all of your chosen Zone colors to white. Very simple in the Alienware app.

Is the trackpad made of glass or plastic? Does the computer have an aluminum or plastic case?
My unit is made of glass. Feels incredible albeit the functionality will take some getting used to, simple things like moving the cursor are not what I am accustomed to...

does this use optimus graphics? and if yes, can it be disabled in bios? this is something that should be specified for every gaming laptop but never is.
Owner response - you can switch between discrete and hybrid graphics in the NVIDA controller app. You can either choose between global selection or per program. If the program is not listed and it is installed on the laptop, you just have to add it to the list.

is this RTX 2070 Max-Q or non Max-Q?
Be careful, others are assuming because of Dell's website (as of June 21st, 2020) that this machine is a MAX-Quiet... it is not, is a full RTX 2070. I purchased two of them. I have no idea why the manufacturer does not offer this upgrade, but I am happy exists here on Best Buy regardless... Not to mention the price... I will save all other opinions for my review.
