Bought the new 4K version to see this classic horror film for the first time. Still packs a punch. Liked it. Recommended for film fans of this cult classic. Though this was a low budget film from the 1970's the 4K upgrade is probably the best this film has ever looked. Audio was good too for movies of this vintage.

Good Boxing Biz drama

Well acted BW movie drama about the seamy side of boxing with Anthony Quinn in the title role as the washed up fighter and Jackie Gleason and Mickey Rooney in very convincing supporting roles as the handlers. There is also a cameo performance by Muhammad Ali ( then known as Cassius Clay) at the beginning of the film . Julie Harris also appears in a supporting role as the social worker playing opposite Anthony Quinn’s character. All in all a good blu ray to watch and perhaps to own at only $10 if you are a boxing fan and like dramas.

Thought I had seen this movie years ago but to my pleasant surprise I was mistaken. It was great! Well acted and directed psycho thriller and riveting to the end. The 4K transfer was very well done too. Picture quality was very good and detailed on a 75 inch Screen. Audio was distinct and balanced consisting mostly of dialogue except for a few action scenes . I also liked the excellent musical background score which added to the suspense.

Love it ! This iPad Air replaced my 8 year old model which had become way too slow. The newest model is lightning fast in comparison, super light weight, very user friendly, high screen resolution and has a much better camera . I liked that the basic model comes with 64 gig too. I bought mine brand new offered at a bestbuy total tech $100 discount.
Only negative thus far is that the fingerprint Id access doesn’t really work well for me but you can still always access the iPad Air via a four or six digit code.

The quality level of the 4k picture and audio of the 6 Columbia Pictures classic films included is superb. Sony is to be commended. Loved the Dolby atmos audio upgrade on most of them. The picture quality is vastly superior too with a lot more detail and precise color grading evident. The content comes in a very attractive box intended for display and includes a picture book with background info on each of the 6 movies. There is good bonus material as well.
The only question I have is the inclusion of Stripes which is a pleasant comedy but not at the same quality level as the others in the collection which of course includes Taxi Driver. The quality level though is so good overall that I highly recommend it on a 50 % sale.

Still Great in 4k

One of the great films of the 60’s era now upgraded to 4K. There is a very noticeable improvement in PQ. With a lot more detail in many scenes now more discernible while retaining an organic look. It is worth it to get the 4K for the vast improvement in resolution and color grading. The audio which included a dts -HD master audio 5.1 option was fine but not a significant improvement from the best blu ray editions now available for this film. If you like this excellent movie though then this 4K is now the best option available and is highly recommended.

I am a Wes Anderson fan and am used to his eclectic film style. Those who aren't are best advised to try some of his earlier films first. This one is a tough one to love although the intentions were good. It is a tongue in cheek celebration of the impact a recently deceased print mag editor had on his colleagues in a three part story line. Parts are rather humorous others miss the mark but all are well acted by some of the more talented actors in Hollywood today.
PQ was very good .While the screen formats varied considerably due to the multiple mediums employed to tell each story. Audio was mostly dialogue driven and clear.

Liked everything about it: Scenic settings, Creepy villain, interesting plot and of course over the top chase scenes featuring the iconic Aston Martin. As for the tech. quality : PQ excellent, resolution native 4K . HDR 10 just perfect color grading, not over the top. Audio was fantastic. Chase scenes rocked in Dolby Atmos. This is a must own if you are a Bond fan.

Excellent OLED picture quality and audio is surprisingly good without any need for additional speakers. It was the largest TV I could reasonably fit in my home office. It was Geek Squad installed for free. I bought it on sale after Black Friday and the installation was included along with free haul away of a larger HD tv on a rather large stand which I could not have moved myself.

Bought this Whalen stand to place a new Sony 48 inch 4K UHDTV. The stand was wide enough to accommodate the TV because the TV model came with a centered oval stand which fit perfectly on top of the tower stand. Otherwise the stand accommodates only up to 32 inch tv. The stand is very attractive and modern . It looks upscale and in the rear spine there is room for cable management. It was put together out of the box by the geeks. So I cannot comment on the ease of the install only that it did not take them long.

No is the right answer. You can get the MLB app on your
4KTV for free if it has google play and you have a google account. Luckily I did.
Love this player for picture quality but streaming app inventory is a definite negative . You really need a smart TV for sport and special purpose apps other than the most popular movie ones which this player does have.
