The story is very good but I am not a huge comic book fan. I had finally upgraded to 4k and have finished piecing my surround sound together and the timing was perfect for this movie. The Dobly Atmos packs a punch and the visuals are eye candy. This is a great reference movie to see what your system is capable of!

I cannot speak to the entertaiment features of this device (I use apple tv at home) but it works very well for our office. We have a tv in the conference room and instead of long cables to our large table, we simply stream to apple tv or to this Chromecast. I needed something for the PC users. The PC users can wirelessly stream their screen to the TV for us to enjoy!

Great game but not worth $60

Mario is always fun and old school side-scrolling Mario is great! The game looks great and even comes with the Luigi part of the game (I have not played it though). The fact is the game should not be $60. It was released on the Wii U and really has nothing new. I would wait until it goes on sale.

That Brightness Though!

I researched Sony's, Samsung, and LG's for over a year before pulling the trigger on this Q8. I felt that it was a top of the line TV while not having the bigger price tag of the Q9. The black level on this tv is great. It cannot beat oled but I believe the brightness that this tv produces counterbalance not having the perfect blacks. Turn this thing on Dynamic mode and watch a video game or 4k video and you would need sunglasses if you were in a completely dark room (you can turn the brightness down as well). My tv is next to a window so when we are watching football on Saturday's, it will be great to have this bright Q8! The tv os works well. I use a Logitech remote instead of the factory Samsung remote. You can hook up your Xbox One X and play games at 1440p at 120fps! It is a nice function but I moved my connection back to my receiver. The picture looks great, black levels are excellent for an LCD tv, and I highly recommend it!

Philips Hue Just Works

First of all, these things are so expensive for the length that you get. If you see them on a 20% sale, get several boxes then! The reason I keep using Philips Hue is that they just work. Like all the time. Maybe 498 times out of 500 they work when I open the app or ask Alexa. The few times they might not work on the first try is usually our wifi internet range and not Hue. Setup is super simple, plug and play!

Simple bulb. Maybe my 7th or 8th in my home as far as lights go (not that one has broken or gone out). I have had a few bulbs for over two years now!) Works 98% of the time. Replaced 4 Remotes I Used Everyday

Love this remote. Especially for $50 or under! I now control my Tivo, Denon Reciever, Apple TV, and Xbox One X with this thing! I was afraid that I would be missing certain buttons but this remote is well thought out and all necessary buttons are present! I can use this to play Blu-rays in the Xbox, switch inputs on the receiver, control Apple TV, etc. The activities button is nice as it will change all the settings to get you up and running (Turn on TV, turn receiver to Apple TV, then control the volume on the receiver.) Set up was a breeze. You may be like me and go back to programming it with your computer as you get used to your workflow. So Harmony easily added Tivo controls but I went back to customize the screen options. This remote gives decent customization options which is great!
The only negatives is that it is not Bluetooth so it will not control my PS4. It will tell the receiver to switch to the PS4 input and control the volume but it will not turn on the PS4. You would have to a Harmony remote that utilizes the Hub for that. Also, there is no voice integration so I cannot use Siri on Apple TV.
It takes two AA batteries and I am interested to see how long they last! It does have a colored LCD screen after all!
I was hesitant at first but now I am a believer!

I needed some basic speakers for video editing at my church since my last pair seemed to develop a short in the wire. These are good speakers and do the job. I enjoy the dongle where you can control the volume instead of having to reach back and control it on the actual speaker. My only hesitancy is that you cannot control the bass to the attached subwoofer. So if you want more or less bass, there is no way to control it on the speakers themselves. These would not be for more advanced video editing or music making but they are good speakers for an office or computer speakers.

My MacBook didn't want to reformat the drive so I had to YouTube how to force it and it turned out to be a different selection in a drop-down box. Not difficult but this wasn't "plug and play" for an Apple computer. Love the price and 4TB!!

Will this use Surround sound that is connected to the tv?
Depends on how you have your tv set up. I have an optical audio cable coming from my tv to surround sound. So any content that is played on my tv will come through surround sound, including Alexa.
I am not sure, however, if you have audio coming out via HDMI if this will work. the FireCube uses a HDMI in so im not sure and different HDMI output would work. I don't know enough about HDMI ARC to know what to say.

When you use it when connected to the tv will the sound come through the surround sound like when you play music and play in the everywhere group when playing music from Amazon prime?
currently it will not play in groups (like the everywhere group) but that may be a software patch that could happen later. When you tv is off, Alexa's voice will come out of the cube speaker and when the tv is off, it will come out of the tv or wherever your audio is. So if your tv runs through a soundbar or surround sound, all sounds will come out of it.
