A Masterpiece mostly Remastered

The game itself is excellent. A niche masterpiece when it first came out in the early 2000s. This version was supposed to remaster the visuals and for some reason the in game cutscenes aren’t. They are in the aspect ratio for the olden days of PS2. Perhaps Altus has grown too big for its own good now. So excellent game, just not fully remastered. Would still buy it again though.

The movie is great. The choreography is very tight and you’ll notice more and more nuances with each viewing. The term “gun-fu” is adequate as the action mixes exciting shoot-outs with martial arts and grappling. And who doesn’t like a good revenge flick? If you raised your hand: leave this page. For everyone else it’s a good one for the action section of your collection.

It’s the best you can get right now. The packaging could be more sturdy. Maybe a couple Blu-ray Discs instead of so many DVDs would have been better. I wish they were the original uncut unedited episodes. Sure the content at times now seems dated and cheesy but it was a quintessential 90s sitcom. I grew up watching it so I had to have it. If you watched the series when the episodes premiered, you’ll probably want it to. Lots of laughs and lots of memories of laughs.

Excellent movie but damaged case

The movie itself is excellent but the case itself was scratched up. It was factory sealed but looked like it might be old stock that was slid around the floor. It isn’t a very new movie and I’m not sure if they’re still pressing copies but I honestly think it might be old stock from Mexico where the Discs were made. Factory sealed and the disc in immaculately new condition but very scraped up case.

If you feel like your ring fingers could be more involved in gaming, this is for you! I use the back button with the Nier games. In combat sequences, when you’re thumbs are moving the characters and camera around, and fighting with the face buttons and shooting or blocking with the triggers, it can feel like a weird stretch of your fingers and fatigue. It takes a little getting used to but this gizmo helps alleviate that. For $20, it a good buy especially for certain games that require a variety of inputs that you don’t want to mix up.
