Save the galaxy in Super Bomberman R Shiny Edition for PlayStation 4. Work cooperatively with another player to clear stages, or take on the bad guys yourself and use timebombs to destroy opponents and open up walkways. Super Bomberman R Shiny Edition also has a Grand Prix mode that pits three-player teams against each other.

I have been playing Bomberman on the PS3 and decided to give this one a whirl.
The characters seem a bit cartoony, but overall the graphics are nicely done. It’s fun being able to choose different characters, a bit different from customizing a character in older versions of this game. I like the story mode option or just playing the classic battle mode, with different battle fields to choose from. One con from the old game is that in this version one is no longer able to quick finish a game if only CPU players are left. That means one must watch them battle it out until one wins or it’s a draw. I miss not having line bombs or deadly bombs in this game, something I greatly enjoyed in the other one. The game has its charm and retains all of the aspects that made the older version fun to play.
